Actual mein jis style mein ye books likhi h us style mein ye schools mein nhi padhayi jaati. Sab jagah teacher khud apne notes likhwata h. Ye books kuchh jyada hi ideal h India ke liye isliye saare bacche reference books kharidte h and ncert ka koi function nhi reh jaata unke marks mein.

"Sun Shine equally on Everything" Mrs Jain putting in very assertive manner which is good thing and Prof. From IGNOU Dr. Sharma said very rightly we give toys to children should be gender neutral. Thnaks for such program Sansad TV.

I never got chance to read NCERT till i started preparing for jobs. I studies in my state board school with poorly written books, lived in a very ignorant neighbourhood soo no one to guide me parents were also not educated enough to help me. I was very angry/sad with the system. Reading good books throughout our childhood should be encouraged. i try my best to spread awareness among kids.

why Prof. Dinesh Prasad - the director of NCERT is reading the notes, and a lot of things have been removed then why do board members forget to keep a balanced perspective? Dr. CB Sharma, Professor of Education, IGNOU, and Dr. Aditi Anil Jain, Chairperson, Gaia Green School have a very fair and balanced perspective. Thanks for prioritizing this topic to discuss, and understand the different views on NCERT.

Thanks a lot sir, today you are taking a good topic which is balanced textbook ncert. You have been discussing about gender equality, that's a good opinion related to gender equality. In ncert textbook many things have mentioned over there about equality of gender but government has taken good decisions related to this issue but in this era we are realising that even in school some gender inequality see , in this way we can not expect about india is going to be develope. That's is about. Even in side the family parents give the bat to the boys but doll to the girls, this is also an example of gender inequality.

    • @priyanshu9769

Bat and Dall cant be compared as gender inequality its the habitual liking of male and female not something by force.

Study social science and Hindi should be necessary to every student till class 12, because teachers who teaches these subjects understand students more better than a science teachers do, they come for reaching not just telling text of book.

Yes indeed ma'am stated rightly approach ,*Pump a confidence to girls/boys/anybody, they do wonder's ... If you keep demoralizing the girls in especific and put them in regressive form and confine their place to kitchen and their house chores ,you can't expect India to progress.. always think holistically# gender parity #♎⚖️ approaches

For giving a better opportunity to girls, we need to bring an equal competitive atmosphere.
Put off the caste based reservation policy.
    Make it ecomony based

Gender inequality is one of the main topic of debate for very long and its the topic is highly palpable because of things happening in the world , be it Taliban brutal law to supress women rights and liberty or be it the Iran govt's role to out hijab forcefully upon girls even at the extent of killing them of not seen wearing properly. Therefore the debate over gender neutrality is justified here .
Gender bias can only be erased if we seriously teach children right from the childhood about this and here parents involvement is a must .
India for the purpose of putting gender neutrality on table is really working hard through tweaks in students curriculum . Apart this classroom should be like that there is no separate rows for girls and boys because this is the first thing that makes differentiation in the minds of the students. All other activities like sports and games to be played together if they want to .
Competition should not be between girls and boys but a mix team can be made in games like relay race and other like debate.
India is a secular nation and thus no one should ever think about any kind if differentiation.
Hope our parenting and teaching would change the perspective of world's mentality.

There is a paradox, even while we promote NCERT books for National competitive exam as a reference, majority of the student exclude from this curriculam due to inability to geting addmission in english medium school across country. This mismatch between states carruculam and National carriculam have been making blind discrimination and exclusion for poor.
