I was there last week. Bought myself a Yorkshire pudding wrap, especially to tease my brother back in Australia. He loooves yorkshire pudding. Nearly made myself sick eating it. A good tip, don't eat anything before you go. 👍 The wrap was delicious.

A very impressive market indeed. The stalls seem to be larger than some of the other markets, like Chester. The sky rink is amazing, too as well as the big wheel. A great presentation, thank you.

Hi Tim, when were you here? We were there last Weds. Bit expensive we thought tbh, especially such as those socks with names on, totally agree! The Exchange is always the best for decorations.

I went this Monday with some friends, definitely a lot of fun! We went into the ice bar and was unfortunately a bit disappointed, watching you makes me wish we had gone ice skating instead. That being said the food was lovely and the atmosphere was great, would definitely recommend it for anyone!

That Christmas market looks fantastic - I love the sky skating thing - looks like great fun! As ever, the prices are high but they are nothing like Hyde park!
My office is literally opposite market square in Nottingham overlooking all of this. Over the years the market has got better and better (last year being an exception as it was scaled back due to covid) I just wish some of the attractions were a little cheeper as if you go as a family it soon mounts up. I was over in Nottingham in early October and that’s when they started building this. I went over on the opening day which was 15th November so it took well over a month to build. Great video Tim. 😊

Ahhh my home town I love Notts and miss their market.😢😢 I'll tell you something Tim Norfolk doesn't make chips like you can get anywhere in Notts. Ask for a pea mix in Nottinghamshire you get just what you've asked for,ask for a pea mix in Norfolk not a blooming clue .

I saw the square just as it was just about up and running - it was really very impressive. very nice atmosphere & there was also a snow machine so it was snowing ! good quality jewellery etc... much better than Manchester...

Great video Tim. I think I liked the market more than the one in Birmingham.
As a Nottingham native living in Birmingham, I would take my home city… It’s not as crowded, the stalls have more variety and atmosphere is calmer. Recently went to Notts for my mum’s birthday last month and the Winter Wonderland played live music and definitely not crowded even for a Friday night

Was lovely going on that upper Ice Skating Path around Nottingham Centre very different!
I've never seen one of them before!
Made me feel.hungry for the Christmas Yorkshire Puddings & one of those dessert Snowballs!
And definitely a Hot Mulled Wine!
Lovely stalls with some nice gifts I always like the food stalls best!
The big Catherine Wheels always look like great fun!
I'm not going to get out to see any Christmas Markets this year I don't think, with the Ice on the Pavements & round about so it was really lovely to see the sights of Nottingham Christmas Markets 🌲☃️Bet you really enjoyed that Tim & not quite as cold as it was in Lapland 🥶

Lots of trips to Nottingham when I was little as my dad was born there. I used to visit Nottingham Goose Fair (And lots of trips to Norwich too as my aunt had a shop there in Elm Hill and lived in Acle before moving to Norwich!) So I know the two areas very well. The food looked delicious up there but boy did you look cold Tim! You actually looked colder than when you went to Lapland! It's brass monkeys here in Kent at the mo 😀❄⛄ x J x

Having been brought up in Nottingham I can honestly say the atmosphere hasn't changed. However, I much prefer York's to that of Nottingham. Great vid all the same, Tim. 👍

I watch the news and according to them the UK is going backwards with no-one being able to afford anything and it's all doom and gloom and then I see videos like this where local councils are spending money and people are out enjoying themselves. Brilliant.
