    Great video. That rice heater you made is what my family calls a “ricey”. We use them like a bed warmer on a cold evening when you first go to bed. They are awesome. Just a tea towel made into a pillow case, filled with rice and sewed shut. It gets cold in the north…..

    “That rice bag works son! “ 🤣
    Content you will only get at IRONCLAD RC, I love it !
    I can watch that 42 glide like it does all day. I have that same performance analyzer just haven’t used it yet.
    I put my batteries on the dash board of my van and use the defrost, probably not the best idea but it gets them warm. I like yours better, I can see me now trying to explain to the wife what I’m putting in my lunch tote 😂 BG4L

    Dang 91 on the stock motor, not too shabby. Few tips on the GNSS: Hit track, then start before each run. Bring boat closer to ya before reading speed. The Bluetooth range is fairly short

    Haha 55-60 degrees. My sister lived in Florida for a few years and would put on boots and a coat when it hit 50-60 degrees. I would visit her wearing shorts and flip flops. We were a pair heading out on the town.

    Im runnin in mid 30 degree weather and I was playing with my new Miss Geico 36 over the weekend and 100% noticed the difference in warm vs cold batts. Still managed 61 on my sw v2 on a M447 though!

    niceee!👍🏾😎 that reconnecting with gnss after a run is a thing BigB I got that Everytime I run with, so what I do is... turnoff the Bluetooth and on again and you should get the reading 😁👍🏾

    From MN, great idea. I have a cat toy with a bag that smells like popcorn when heated. My Bengel hates it so Ill use it for that. Hunting heat packs would work too. You need more 106mph footage of this boat. I flew a Sunracer III hotliner at 173mph logged on a phone app. Ill never run a boat that fast. You should get a free 100 mph club hat now.

      The rice bag definitely smells like popcorn when it's heated lol... 173mph wow that's insane 😳

    It uses the Bluetooth and needs to be close enough to pick up the receiver and tested the two GPS units myself and got 4-5 mph difference ten them👍Another great video and love that Blackjack 42

      Yep, Bluetooth is generally good for 30 to 35 feet depending on conditions. Standing on that dock you should get at least 20. Still, maneuvering over by the dock to get a reading beats having to pull it out of the water, rip off the tape and dig out the gps. Bluetooth is pretty reliable but depending on the implementation, re-connecting might be a bit slow. Patience grasshopper!

    I’m building electric heating pads for inside the boat in the winter for under the esc. I’ll let everybody know how it goes.also trying out hand warmers inside the boat for normal temps. With mini thermometers.

    Lunch: noun
    a meal eaten while running an rc boat in the middle of the day, typically at the near by pond one that is lighter or less formal than an evening meal.

    I know its a imited number of runs, but if you had to buy a new GPS would you go back to Dynamite or similar or stay with the new GNSS Performance Analyzer?

    • @IRONCLADRC
      @IRONCLADRC  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Performance analyzer for sure. I didn't think I'd like it but it's actually very convenient

    The gnss must be still to set and read.
    That might be something causing the delay to read. Probably the cracked phone

    After watching this video I’m getting a bag and a heat pack

    • @IRONCLADRC
      @IRONCLADRC  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Don't get it to hot. Today I slightly heated the heat pack to 80 degrees, put it on the battery's, once they were warm I heated the bag again to 110deg, battey Temps are at 89-90 degrees. Otw to the speed run spot
