This is so nostalgic, but watching these again shows me how little of the whole story we actually have pieced together, I hope they finish making that campaign mode soon.

I like how orisa was teased in reinhardt's cinematic ,and you can see some sort of sigma and junkey queen prototypes in the photo when the kid punched widowmaker

I remember hearing about Junker Queen since the game's release. A lot of newer characters have been teased in the lore for years before finally being added to the game.
I hope the kid who punches Widow will become a hero. That'd be great.

For someone that started playing OW2 for almost an month now, but not knowing anything about any character until now, this feels like an movie and i completely love it!
I'ts honestly crazy how the animated shorts only present a tiny percent of the lore. Like how pharah is not mentioned at all, the story of orisa is not told, from the shorts you cant tell much about talon and blackwatch. The shorts create a small portion of what we know, and even so, this portion takes an hour and 45 minutes to tell....game lore be like 💀
If they had a short for every single character it'd be so cool honestly after watching this it makes me want to play even more
TBF pharah is kinda lame. I say that as a pharah main. He voice lines are so dull, he whole personality is "basketball" and "justice"

You just had to be there at Overwatch 1’s prime. It was beautiful. And these shorts would move you. These characters had a soul and you cared about who they were and what their story was. Overwatch 2 could’ve been great.

The litlle girl in second cinematic has more agility than 95% of overwatch's characters, only genji hanzo or kiriko could climb that wall
having played OW2 it's only right I get on track with its lore, this got me 80% back on track

Im would genuinely love a whole overwatch movies with this animation style because the animations actually look so good and if they done a movie for the story before overwatch broke up it could actually be really good

Many of those characters had concepts designed/scrapped. Some were used to make other characters, some their ideas are open for the future

that first ow2 cinematic makes me think they had big ideas for the game like certain abilitys working together... might see it in a future update but I feel like it would be too hard to balence
