Here are a couple of suggestions I would like to make. Please tell me what you think if you try them...:-) 1. Vanille Insensée by Atelier Cologne. Delightful and not too strong, but really long lasting... (available at Sephora) 2. My absolute favorite of the moment: Tobacco Vanille by Tom Ford. Don't be scared by the tobacco notes, they are exquisitely balanced with vanilla and make a truly unique blend. What is scary though is the price tag... I only tried it at Sephora, but I don't know when I am able to purchase it... PS: a little side note on Un Bois Vanille by Serge Lutens: Bois is for 'wood', not for 'drink'...;-) I know because I'm French...;-)

In French a drink is « une boisson » which may sound like « un bois » but the meaning is different. « Un bois » is a Forest or « « woods » more directly but it’s woods meaning a Forest not a drink so the lutens « Un bois vanille » is actually « A Vanilla Forest » or « Vanilla Woods » if you prefer.
I, too, love vanilla and have two of the scents you mention. However, my favorite and the one that everyone asks me about when I wear it is an oil called Pavarti. You can get it online at The Goddess Line. Lasts all day long and is amazing :) Haven't used anything else in years. They also offer samples for purchase.

If you love vanilla scents, you must try Yves Saint Laurent Manifesto. Especially for this coming fall. It is a great fall vanilla scent. Its top notes are vanilla and tonka bean i believe and it has some cedar in it as well.....it smells sooo good.

You have a wonderful tonal quality and non disruptive pronunciation. I'd consider it to be a perfectly neutral media voice. It's easy to listen to. I also love vanillas! I have owned almost all of the same vanillas you have with the exception of CSP. You might like Indult Tihota, Guerlain Gourmand Coquin, or some of their other exclusives. They make some gorgeous vanillas.
I've been watching your videos for several months now and absolutely love them all! I have tried many of the products you review and have loved them all! However, I did recently order one that sounded intriguing (I have not yet heard you mention it the videos I have watched and I think I've seen them all) and I think you might love it also! I stumbled upon your TH-cam channel over Christmas break and have very much enjoyed your videos for tips, tricks and product reviews. Thank you for your positive and classy presentation. I too am a fan of vanilla scents, and would recommend Eau de Toilette Vanille by Outremer. Don’t let the “toilette” fool you - it has gentle staying power. When I wear it, people comment, wondering where the wonderful marshmallow scent is coming from. Even with that description, it is not overly sweet, or overly powerful. I am also a fan of Prada’s perfume “Candy”. Again, this sounds overly sweet but is more of a soft powdery scent with a hint of vanilla.

Dominique, I have a suggestion for your husband (if YOU love vanilla) : do you ever heard about "Pour un homme" de Caron. If you never have, please try. I think the most attractive men and sexy on this planet use or have used this perfume, never equalized by any other The lavender scent dissipates, but vanilla remains and it's irresistible. Why ? Because, after a couple of hours, it smells this subtile fragrance of our dolls when we were little girls. This perfume was created in 1934, and I think it is always a great perfume because women always want to smell their childhood. It's not wierd, it' very clever, it's a brillant idea, really. But above all, it's a very elegant and sensual perfume. Top notes: Essence Lavender, Lavender Absolute Heart notes: Lavender, Vanilla Base notes: Amber, Musk
I have the Serge Lutens Un Bois Vanille and love it - in fact after watching your video I had to go and spritz some on! Another Serge Lutens favorite of mine is Bois et Fruits (wood and fruit). No vanilla, but one of the fruits in this fragrance is apricot. Just Delicious! I have had the Vanille Abricot in the past and it is wonderful - going to have to pick up another bottle.

if you like Amber Vanilla, you'll LOVE Fred Segal's The Blend #3 Amber Vanilla...it is SHEER HEAVEN! Plus you can mix it with other blends, and it comes in a mix pack at Sephora...I bought a full size of the #3 since my hubby went nuts when I tried it on!
I noticed yesterday that the bath/bar soap brand Caress......has a scent called "Endless Kiss" and that it's vanilla sandalwood scent. I haven't used it but I smelled it and it really is pretty. Just an inexpensive idea for your first layer of scent!
I read an article a few years back, and it was about scents that men like on women one of the scents was vanilla and it said older men are more attracted to the vanilla scent because it makes them feels comfortable around women like a motherly thing. I don't know what truth there is in that but it makes me wonder every time I wear Vanilla if old men are going to swarm around me like bee's to nectar. I like the Bath and Body, "warm sugar vanilla" body spray and the Pacifica "island vanilla".
Great suggestions, and if a side-effect of the perfume is older men hanging around, I could think of worse problems :) I actually heard that before, as well. The vanilla reminds men of mom baking.
Have you tried Vanille Insensée from Atèlier Cologne? I haven't tried that fragance in particular but I know the brand and it's quite special. I was doing some shopping online and I remembered this video. Maybe you can add it to your Christmas' wishlist!

As far as I am concerned - there is no such thing as too much vanilla! Great video. BTW, LaVanila also has (had?) a sample box with five mini-rollerball vanillas which I found very nice. I got it @ Sephora right before Xmas - don't know if it is still there.

I love perfume and wear it everyday whether I'm going out of just staying in my home. One of my favorites brands...... L'Occitane en Provence....ANYTHING Vanilla...a special scent for me is Ambre. I usually try to pick up their products in Duty Free when I am traveling...!! Enjoy..!
Dominique, thank you for sharing your collection. At the moment i am loving this french perfume, Atelier Cologne Vanille Insensée. Very sophisticated! Give it a try. Sephora sells it , or directly from Atelier, they now have a store in NY.
My absolute favorite vanilla fragrance is the Vanilla collection from L'occitane. It's super fresh and has a hint of lavender (I think). Yummy! Great video! XOXO, Cathy

My favorite Vanilla fragrance is "Vanilla Lace" by Victoria Secret. I spray a Musk body Spray over top of that and OMG I get a lot of compliments.
I have Serge Lutens Un Bois Vanille. It translates to 'vanilla wood' hence the woodiness that youre getting. Lovely fragrance. Can't wait to dabble in the others you mentioned xx

Dominique, I have a suggestion for your husband (if YOU love vanilla) : do you ever heard about "Pour un homme" de Caron. If you never have, please try. I think the most attractive men and sexy on this planet use or have used this perfume, never equalized by any other The lavender scent dissipates, but vanilla remains and it's irresistible. Why ? Because, after a couple of hours, it smells this subtile fragrance of our dolls when we were little girls. This perfume was created in 1934, and I think it is always a great perfume because women always want to smell their childhood. It's not wierd, it' very clever, it's a brillant idea, really. But above all, it's a very elegant and sensual perfume.
Top notes: Essence Lavender, Lavender Absolute
Heart notes: Lavender, Vanilla
Base notes: Amber, Musk
Anne Nanou does it have a feminine or masculine smell? Because I'm young and I want a sweet vanilla. Not to grown up
I have the Serge Lutens Un Bois Vanille and love it - in fact after watching your video I had to go and spritz some on! Another Serge Lutens favorite of mine is Bois et Fruits (wood and fruit). No vanilla, but one of the fruits in this fragrance is apricot. Just Delicious! I have had the Vanille Abricot in the past and it is wonderful - going to have to pick up another bottle.

if you like Amber Vanilla, you'll LOVE Fred Segal's The Blend #3 Amber Vanilla...it is SHEER HEAVEN! Plus you can mix it with other blends, and it comes in a mix pack at Sephora...I bought a full size of the #3 since my hubby went nuts when I tried it on!

I noticed yesterday that the bath/bar soap brand Caress......has a scent called "Endless Kiss" and that it's vanilla sandalwood scent. I haven't used it but I smelled it and it really is pretty. Just an inexpensive idea for your first layer of scent!

I read an article a few years back, and it was about scents that men like on women one of the scents was vanilla and it said older men are more attracted to the vanilla scent because it makes them feels comfortable around women like a motherly thing. I don't know what truth there is in that but it makes me wonder every time I wear Vanilla if old men are going to swarm around me like bee's to nectar. I like the Bath and Body, "warm sugar vanilla" body spray and the Pacifica "island vanilla".
Great suggestions, and if a side-effect of the perfume is older men hanging around, I could think of worse problems :) I actually heard that before, as well. The vanilla reminds men of mom baking.
Have you tried Vanille Insensée from Atèlier Cologne? I haven't tried that fragance in particular but I know the brand and it's quite special. I was doing some shopping online and I remembered this video. Maybe you can add it to your Christmas' wishlist!
Thank you for sharing your vanillas. I enjoy a fragrance called Dolcelisir, it's more of a cool weather fragrance. Also, bath and bodyworks has shea cashmere hand lotion - smells like vanilla sugar cookies and feels like liquid silk!

I just found you on TH-cam 2 days ago and have already got 2 other gals here at work hooked. We all think you are great! By the way I really like the vanilla lavender lotion from Bath and Body works strangely enough. It is great for a hand cream throughout the day.

As far as I am concerned - there is no such thing as too much vanilla! Great video. BTW, LaVanila also has (had?) a sample box with five mini-rollerball vanillas which I found very nice. I got it @ Sephora right before Xmas - don't know if it is still there.
