We can also make trades with other teams for defenseman. There are always options. We also have defensemen prospects to look at!.$9 million is a lot to pay, for an unhappy player.

And is upset about that, much like most employees when they are laid off. If that's the case, I don't blame him. But, I also want to see the Rangers move on without him.

Rangers can only blame themselves about Trouba's salary as they signed him to it. Trouba expected to be a Ranger for 7 years and having opportunities to play for a Cup. Leafs and Rangers are notorious for hugely overpaying for a player then expect another team to take the player and the salary off their hands when their numbers go down and don't live up to the hype.

Mika sucked, Panarin sucked worse, fox, Lindgren, Miller, Gus, Kakko sucks, period, vesey, Chytil was rushed back like he was a miracle worker.....The captain and goodrow get shafted. THE TEAM SUCKED, DUDEEE. Not just Trouba.

As a wings fan, I wouldn’t touch this deal with a 10 foot pole without Holl or a bad contact like Copp going the other way. Just my 2 cents
