    Thank you for sharing your great trip here. Yes, Denver International is very nice to fly into. There are a few great taco restaurants to go to there.😊 Yes, the 767 & 757 are sister aircraft. The pilots can fly on either one the aircraft easily from their training. Yes, the 757-300s are flown out of Washington DC to Europe alot. I still love the 757s in general. I flew on the 200s before the merger seeing the 300s come from Continental. The 300s remind me seeing the old DC-8 Super 63s!! Haha, yes, some people say flying pencils!! I have to laugh hear that😊

    I've only flew on one 757 in my life on American Airlines in a 757-200 in the US Airways Livery (N910AW) from HNL-PHX onwards connecting to ORD when I was 5. I took this experience on this beautiful bird for granted and I wish I havent. Amazing bird!

    The fact that the 757 is capable to land and takeoff from Midway shows how it's the sportscar of the sky.

      100%. ATA used to fly those in and out of MDW during its time

    4:00 I got a chance to fly bussiness class on the Lufthansa 747-400 from ORD to Frankfurt. It was an amazing experience. It's sad that they're slowly phasing out the amazing queen of the skies.

      Yes, Lufthansa is flying the 747-800s as well. Yes, I do miss seeing on te commercial passengers here in the USA of the 747. But I do see the cargo 747s fly over me here in Chicago still.😊

    4:06 I actually saw this exact 747-8i in Toronto less than a month ago, which was an awesome surprise for Toronto planespotters like me, who usually get the Boeing 747-400 in summer and a mix of 787 and A330/A340 in winter from Frankfurt. Fun fact: Lufthansa used to have a Boeing 747-200 registered D-ABYT, wearing this exact livery!

    There is so much I would Love to say but will keep it as brief possible 🙆 Superb Work ! You are so Detail Oriented; your videos offer a lot of good info. What you verbally describe are facts, not your opinion. That is so rare these days. You don't stick only to the subject described; you share every detail of everything that we see on the screen.
    I just want to Congratulate you for the Quality of video that you Produce, is an entire higher level.

      Due to DEN's location, the airport has plenty of room to expand, unlike most major US airports.

    I fly ORD to DEN and back on United 3 times a week. They also have a daily triple 7 flight, which I avoid, mainly because it takes so long to board and deplane

    Usually flights from the north and east land on 16L in Denver when the winds are out of the south instead of 17R which are flights coming from the south and east. 16R is used for flights coming from the west.

    • @slgordon3
      @slgordon3 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      May I ask a question here. Which way does the wind normally blow at DIA? I used to live in Boulder and it seemed like the wind usually came from the west, right out of the mountains. Occasionally the wind came from the east, when the weather was changing, and you could smell the cow manure from the farms. But when I flew out of DIA, it usually seemed like we were taking off and landing on those north/south runways. So, I was just curious about the prevailing winds at DIA. Any info would be appreciated-thank you.

    i think the winglets prevent atmospheric pressure air from sneaking to the top of the wing taking off and landing and the flaps too

    Landing at DEN is disconcerting for me--being that its the gateway to the Rockies, it feels like I'm coming into some midwestern airport, say somewhere in western Ilinois or Iowa what with all the farmland. The first time I flew into DEN, I was asking myself, "Where are the mountains, the snow-capped peaks?"

    the "wiglets" i think it has to do with the routes engines type and planes.. they are installed to "improve efficiency" you ever see a Roles Rice on the side of the road? nope most CRJ and ERJ dont even have them

  • @Rndmstff737
    @Rndmstff737 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I’d assume the reason the 757-300 doesn’t have scimlitar winglets has something to do with certification. I’d imagine that the Boeing 757-300 would have to get some kind of certification to use scimlitar winglets and because of how few 757-300s there are compared to the -200 Boeing just never bothered to certify the winglets. But I can only guess

  • @jjbreneman
