Actually a part of Gunna's plea agreement is that he won't be required to testify. He took an Alford plea. It's a different type of plea than the kind of plea this guy is describing. The law is super nuanced and it's important for us all to remember that.

When you take a plea you're not tricked unless you are ignorant of the law/fact which is no defense. Those who take pleas just don't want to deal with fighting that case. No he doesn't. Gunna's lawyer explained more than once that Gunna's plea deal can't be used against him or any other people. You can cut deals where you say things that are incriminating that can't be used as evidence. That's how Bill Cosby got out. He agreed to say things that would incriminate him, and the prosecution agreed that those statements would be sealed. They turned around and use those statements to convict him, and then they had to throw the whole thing out just a few years later.
