I remember when me and my brother would be playing Mario kart on our wii, when ever he heard the Mega Mushroom music behind him, he would just start having a panic attack and start screaming, mean while our parents would coming running like we were about to be kidnapped or something, it was so hilarious

The fact that they discontinued using the Mega Mushroom in Mario Kart 8 and New Super Mario Bros. Wii & WiiU just upsets me. This item needs to be brought back. And I just love how smooth New Super Mario Bros. 2 is!

No one can deny they love this Power Up, you feel so powerful when you've got it and feels good to see the ants run in fear. Love to use it both in Mario Kart Wii and the New Super Mario Bros DS Multiplayer

I love how the Mega Mushroom got it’s own theme in NSMB instead of just reusing the star theme. It makes the two items feel much more distinct.

I remember the joy of using these mushrooms in New super Mario bros. I was a child who didn't care about the tiny mushrooms unless I got star coins.
i really like how mario goes out destroying everything when he gets the mega mushroom.
Although the first instance of a large mushroom to crush a lot of things was in MP3, the mega mushroom felt like it was actually first added in NSMB because it was given an item appearance, individual growing sound, and a theme that wasn’t a variant of the invincible theme of that game

Perfect video, you always show off what shenanigans you can do with the mega mushroom, I love it.
The mega mushroom may be a complete gimmick in every game it's ever been featured in, but it is a cool powerup, and I wish it was used more (and better) in the games featuring it.

So you do the trick i do in NSMB to wait for the mega mushroom to get close to the fall and quickly grab it to destroy the flag pole.

The Mega Mushrooms first looked like a normal Mushroom in Mario Party 3, but later changed to green in Mario Party 4, then red again in Super Mario 64 DS, and in NEW Super Mario Bros. for the Nintendo DS it turned big and yellow with red dots. That is the one we know of today! :)
