Courtney was released after spending time in Spring Training and then AAA and AA with the Mets so he's playing Indy ball now trying to get back similarly to my arena football endeavors. I've still got some buddies in the game you might have to trade for in Sawyer Gipson-Long and Cam Brown of the Tigers, Shane Greene of the Rangers and Daniel Camarena of the Padres if he's somehow still in the game.

great video franchise gaming! i was wondering if you could make a video like you did last year where you walk through one season of franchise?
I probably will at some point. But those videos take a bit to plan and make and I'm in the process of moving so don't expect it SOON but I'll do what I can!
I started a franchise with the mets yesterday. First thing i did was trade starling marte for a prospect (free'd up like 15 mil in my budget) and signed Jordan Montgomery for 1 year 11 mil. Also have the updated rosters with JD on the team now and my team is looking solid for a potential division run. Gonna be a fun year

I used my own roster that I uploaded to the vault. Mentioned it in my top 10 teams to rebuild video. However, at this point, the roster update has hit and mine is a bit obsolete minus the changes I made to minor Leaguers
this warms my heart.. my only chance to see my team succeed lol

You should use no pci/pitching meter so that the gameplay relies more on the players ratings and development, could make it a little more immersive as well. Other than that great vid, very entertaining I’ll be looking forward to watching in the future.
Maybe someday. Right now, I find the game challenging enough. I'm on the road to playing on legend-legend. As you can see I'm between HOF and HOF+ on both hitting and pitching. So I don't mind NOT doing it that way.

Just bought this game the other day, i always play about 10 exhibition games before starting my franchise so I can get all my settings and sliders dialed in. Not sure why, but I'm struggling more than normal at the plate so far. Im almost always early or late swinging on every pitch, very few have I timed just right. I generally strike out about 5 or 6 times a game with the past The Show games but I'd say I'm averaging striking out about 9 times a game so far. Still love the game just wish I could get my timing down like I have with the past games.
Odd cause I've personally had a faster start than normal. Usually with my hitting I hover between All Star and HOF and grind my way to Legend mid season. This game, I've started HOF and haven't been under it
@@FranchiseGaming I'm thinking most of my problems stem from going back to play the older The Show games again while waiting on MLB 24. Been playing mainly the PS3 titles again, MLB 09-16 and the pitches come at you way faster in those games than the newer ones. I've had to jump the fastball and offspeed sliders up almost all the way to replicate the older games. I was swinging early on 99 MPH fastballs until tweaking the sliders lol. I did much better last night, played a game before bed and was hitting much better. I usually play on All Star, I'm not good enough to play on Legendary 😅

For one, I'm not sure what you mean. For two, if you're coping about me not wanting to pay a pure power hitter who doesn't provide much in the field or contact wise and is 29 going on 30 and I don't want to give him a long term contract, I think you just want the Mets to be the Yankees. Which, I am not going to build like that.

Also, must warn you, my dum dum brain put created Mets prospect Ryan Clifford at 1B (where he belongs) when apparently the game had him at LF...so there will be 2 of them. I think mine is more accurate to his last year stats but...you can change one of the names to whatever and be fine.

I chose the A's last year, man that shit was rough lol.
I had A's as well last year. Playlist is on the channel. Had a lot of fun with it but a little pissed because I felt like I left the complete story unfinished because Madden came out and I won't do the same this year.

You could argue Lindor was snubbed an AS nod in '22 and '23
He had a much better case in '22. '23 he was hitting .239 which is rough

Did they fix the progression/regression system?
I was told that the regression system should work where guys regress at 33 and beyond unless they are putting up great numbers. Not sure how true it is though because this is legit my first franchise video and progression/regression isn't something I'm going to notice until seasons in.
@@FranchiseGaming it is a game ruining problem. Players regress drastically after about 7 service years. Trout is a 60 overall by the 36

How many teams can you control in franchise mode?
All 30 if you want to but you can only set it at the start of franchise so no changing your mind mid save

@@Oceanviewcoffeeshop they just made it possible this year to do the draft for multiple teams. Previously you could control 30 but only draft for 1

As I said, if it's a long-term contract for 6+ years, it's probably not going to be for me. At 3 or 4 years I can probably deal with it.
