Grand Metropolis always had a great, upbeat futuristic vibe to it, especially with the music. 🎶 It would be nice if the games treated the levels more like characters with a story, like in other games that have hub worlds, there's always lore and a story behind the cities the characters live in or visit. 👋🏾😎💯
Seeing Tropical Coast in this was amazing. Lost World is my favorite game of all time, so mix a cool stage with a cool engine, and you've got perfection. Aquatic Marvel is a very close second favorite for me.
I knew I would see comments about the tree stage, I actually really enjoy it, my favorite stage visually as well! It's also one of the few stages to use the whip grab in a smart way.
I love all of them so much but Adventure Pack 2.0 is my favorite personally. The entire vibe and beauty of that stage is arguably more beautiful than any stage I’ve seen in actual Sonic games
Enemies always had a habit of making the game lag, that being said, the slowdown was actually caused by Pressing the V button. The easter egg is basically unbeatable without using it. Also I'm pretty sure you're meant to do so, as it mimics Undertale.

The hpf for audio when you boost just ruins the music, all you would have to do to fix it is add some channels with a fade in and out. Add instead of remove freq bands

i forgot to say 1 thing, in the eggman hates furies fan game no deth/damage video you cold of taked 1 less hit, in the part when eggman transforms into super eggman you can jump off the platform that you are on and not get hit by the blue thing that he shots at you
This engine is beyond incredible in both graphics and gameplay, but there a few problems with it. The Dash/Rainbow Ring animation should be facing in the direction of the Dash/Rainbow Ring instead of facing up, there should be more 2d sections in fan made levels, boost stages should be ported instead of adventure stages, to back up having more 2d sections in stages, and more varieties of Eggman's robots should be used more often instead of G.U.N robots.
Everything is super, coolly beautiful. But why are Sega and Fan-Devs unaware of the concept of *diegetic elements* of environment ? Okay, rings, I can take them as a game convention and a tool for guiding the player in the right direction. But what about the _jump panel_ and _dash panel_ ? Someone put it there? Are it used by someone other than Sonic? It were put there specifically for the sake of Sonic? If so, why doesn't Robotnik remove / destroy it? Why are Eggman's robots just standing still? Are they guarding something, patrolling something? why isn't anyone chasing Sonic? Why isn't anyone trying to stop him? Why not bring Metal Sonic Prototypes into the game? That can only work for example 2 minutes like the Eungelions ? Why not introduce a target for Sonic? I understand that _Goal Ring_ is a game convention and that the sound around it helps to understand that the end of the level is coming soon. But why is there nothing around the _Goal Ring_, no byzy, no door, no NPC with a cat we could talk? Elevator? Portal? Boss? Trap? Anything but a platform with nothing Where is Sonc in a hurry? Is he in a hurry? Could this be a stealth mission? Or an escort mission? Or should we destroy Eggman's designs? Imagine that the fewer Robotnik devices we destroy, the more death machines will await us in the future. But the more time we spend on destroying Eggman's plans, the more the Village / Friends / Chao / People will suffer. Isn't such a conflict of interests intriguing? It seems to me that the time has come to return Verhog. But not as Sonic, but as a playable Knuckles. Well, the _panels_ were allowed to leave behind the playable Tails, who builds corridors at Eggman's bases and equips the village.
11:23 i was not expecting spark 1 music because of how the spark the electric jester series is, i also need to go back to spark 2 & give it another chance because i rage quited when trying to get all of the medals because of how bad every single 1 exept stage 2 golden speedrun is & that was in a version where the title screen & final boss theme where the same, so i don't know if they have been nerfed, i like a challenge, but this is the most unfair thing i have ever seen, in fact it made spark 2 for me the only game where i never returned & never gave it another chance after i ragequited, i love the series but come on, most of the game are those medals & all exept 1 suck & i know they're optional, but you get probably super fark outside of the final boss & i don't see another legit way to get that form, but because of how bad they are & without modding / hacking there is no other way to get super fark, of makes super fark in normal stages & normal boss fights pretty much pro speedrunners exclusive, its not just a little extra, not its actually something for gameplay, but no matter how powerful super fark is, even if he would be so powerful that everyone just pisses of exept the treu final boss, he's still not worth it, but that was back in an old version that i ragequited, so the latest version might have nerfed it, but still i think lake should have sticked with scp challenges like the first game, that was way more fair & unlike these medals they always have a fun twist to a stage or a section of it, atleast i've heard that spark 3 has much easyer medals, spark 1 though, that is in general my most favorite game of all time EDIT: thinking about it now, i wonder if picking an easyer difficulty is making medals harder is idk some sort of exchange or punishment for making the normal game so easy, because i played on the easyest difficulty because it was my first run, that would probably be the only thing that would change my mind completely & like the game a lot more
