    relic mode on vanquish hits deeper than coin mode, you had in coin mode, which is geared for trashy areas, faster recovery speed, but less depth

    You had the vanquish in coin mode, switch to relic and swing slower u would have hit it.

      Yes the Vanquish performed very well for about 3 hours until I started having some major issues with its durability and build quality. I didn't even get my chance to give it a durability test before it failed. I have a video showing that fail that will post in next couple of days. If I threw that Vanquish 5 feet in the air it would probably land in shatter into pieces. It's performance WAS outstanding BUT it is just not a well built machine for $200. We live in the Pacific Northwest and we need rugged waterproof machines out here right. Thanks for watching and commenting Spike. Happy hunting and good luck buddy.

      Nick Mah the Simplex is a tank in comparison. Overall the vanquish is a beach detector. The only advantage is multi frequency and after using both my Simplex does just as well. My 440 is a backup to my simplex.

    But I thought you did a video on the 440 and said it was a junk I have the 440 and I’ve had other machines and I think the 440 for the price is one of the best

      The 440 build quality is weak but it does perform great for the money. The 440 would not take the harsh terrain and the constant rain we have here in the Pacific Northwest. The Simplex is waterproof and has held up very well to my tests.

      The Vanquish would have done better with the V 12 coil. That coil looks like the V 8 coil as thats what I have with my 540 . The pro pack comes with both 8 inch and 12 inch coils. You can't compare an 8 inch coil with a 10 ,11 or 12 inch coil. If you can't compare 3 machines with same size coils ; don't bother as it doesn't give an even test.

    Question? If the Teknetiks T2 is really the great unmasker in iron,and a deep seeker that runs stable with many coil options, why would you not go out with you're t2 to you're iron infested sites? I see you're out alot with the simplex the most. O e can only assume you prefer this over the the T2 for recovery,unmasking,and depth,makes since huh?

    • @PaystreakSuperfreak
      @PaystreakSuperfreak  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I used the T2 ltd for about 6 months and it started falling apart. Power knob broke and battery compartment lid latch broke and had a few other smaller issues. The T2 is also not waterproof and it downpours a lot here where I live. The Deus is also not waterproof but I do not have the Deus remote in the rain because it is tucked under my chin away from the weather. The Deus is one of the most durable machines I have ever used and XP has a 5 year warranty that can be matched by no other metal detector manufacturer. The Deus shaft and coil is so lightweight I can swing it all day log very very fast and not get fatigued. The Deus is much harder to learn the tones on deep targets because I am not looking at the numbers.

    • @markdoehrman4447
      @markdoehrman4447 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      My budget is not in the dues range. I guess my question was on the performance in iron and stability of the t2 real world,let's say compared to the Impact? I know you are ALOT more of an expert than I am by leaps and bounds,,,,"5 years for me"and you have experience with many detectors,,who better to ask?

      To my knowledge Nokta didn't make any changes to the original field mode or park mode so there shouldn't be any differences in those modes......

    • @PaystreakSuperfreak
      @PaystreakSuperfreak  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Nokta states the v02.77 park 2 mode is the same as the v02.68 park mode. Park 2 v02.77 has different tone breaks, different tone pitches, harder to pinpoint(without using pinpoint button) and slight EMI can completely overwhelm machine at full gain in 3 tone modes. I have had over 1000 hours of field use with the v02.67 and that is what I am back to swinging currently. I tested the v02.77 for about 12 hours and had to go back to what I love about the Simplex+......v02.67. Thanks for watching and commenting estim8tor1.

      @jeffmcclendon3835 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Personally, see this as a poor comparison. Simplex 11” coil, has a much larger coil and was being used in both Park modes along with Field modes which have preset discrimination that allows targets responses in the iron range 0 to 15 and low conductor non-ferrous range 16- 30. The Vanquish 10X6”coil, so basically an 8” coil, was in Coin mode which by default discriminates and rejects all iron targets and low non-ferrous target responses from 1 to 10. The first target (deep silver half???can’t remember) may wrap around and respond in the low iron range on the Vanquish if it can hit it with that coil, the nickel target was most telling. The Vanquish audio was slightly broken up. I believe the video maker termed it as “The Vanquish really doesn’t like that target” paraphrasing. Actually, the Vanquish was being very truthful and was giving only one tone with 11, 12, 13 responses which are correct for the US nickel at that depth with that small coil. The audio was stuttering because there may have been a couple of 8, 9 or 10 responses that were being discriminated out due to using coin mode. If you want to test deeper low to mid conductor targets responses with the Vanquish, you need to at least use Jewelry mode which just rejects the iron range.

    • @PaystreakSuperfreak
      @PaystreakSuperfreak  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      V8. I didn't even get a chance to use the v10 before the Vanquish started having serious durability issues. I am sure the V10 coil would have hit those deeper coins in this test garden. The Vanquish was not at all a well built machine. I have a video posted for this Friday on that fail. I had very high hopes for the Vanquish at first. Thank you for watching and commenting.
