    Detailing is one of the most fun parts of building imo, u see the model slowly come to life the more you add.

    Am I the only one who’s asking, “ what kinda glue you use or what’s that’s stuff you’ll use to stick these tiny bits onto?” I admire your skills without any doubt but sometimes I, and I’m pretty sure I’m not alone, who want or need some answers to these kinda questions? Nevertheless you’ve got two thumbs up from me for sharing this beautiful video with me, thank you so much. 👍👍🙏👏💕

      I used Loctite 401 and the art knife blades to apply the glue.
      Thank you for the comment. =)

    Amazing work, I admire your dexterity in folding PE parts with just tweezers and your fingers! I'm making Fujimi 1/700 Atago, first time using PE and it is very difficult for me!
    Can I ask, you're using Axia 031 super glue, but what container is it in? You seem to have a nice, long and thin applicator for the glue to stick PE parts together

    • @EbroinSong
      @EbroinSong  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you for the compliment. =) Good choice about Atago. Fujimi's PE parts are relatively good for beginners, they fit relatively well, and they don't require insane amount of work. I am also building same kit now. =)
      And yes, I am using Axia 031, I didn't change the container. I put dental syringe needle in the container's mouth and tape around beween the needle and the mouth, using masking tape.

    i think i went over my head when picking up aoshima ijn fuso with aosima wooden deck and photo etch part for ijn fuso, since my only experience with model kit is only gundam and no experience in photo etch and also am lacking of photo etch bending and rolling tool plus my dexterity and precision is not as good

    Excellent work, like always! Have you ever tried PE detail parts made by Tetra Model Works? (They're Korean based company)

    • @EbroinSong
      @EbroinSong  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, I tried on my Kongo and Akagi. Tetra's PE parts fits well, very good overall. But they are bit too thick and stiff for my taste.

    will the glue from Revell be enough to get the yamato together (ordered the modell "1/700 WARSHIP NEXT IJN YAMATO PERFECT" by Fujimi)? If not which glue do you recommend?

    • @EbroinSong
      @EbroinSong  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If the kit contains PE parts, you will need Super glue. (I am not sure the kit you ordered contains PE.. so many different version of same kit. =/)
      If you need superglue, I recommend Loctite 401, it doesn't solidify instantly.

      @@EbroinSong Does the PE stick to the kit using wood glue?

    • @EbroinSong
      @EbroinSong  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Ardi Oye It sticks for short amount of time. So I most likely use it for temporary, for placing PE just before cement them with superglue.

      Ebroin Song wdym by sister ships

    • @EbroinSong
      @EbroinSong  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      A sister ship is a ship of the same class or of virtually identical design to another ship. Such vessels share a nearly identical hull and superstructure layout, similar size, and roughly comparable features and equipment. Often, sisters become more differentiated during their service as their equipment (in the case of naval vessels, their armament) are separately altered. -description from Wikipedia =)

      Ebroin Song yeah it really isn't as good as I had hoped it would be and when you only get one set of torp launchers it kind of limits the amount of ships you can number it to be.
