      Thank you! Quad Lock is also a quality brand

    I might try the Rockform out as well if you vouch for it. I too have thicker bars (hammerheads) and have to put my mount on the mirror stem which isn’t as secure as on the bars IMO. 🤷🏾‍♂️

      The only time thicker bars suck! Lol honestly I’d probably save your money and buy a law abiding biker gripper. Half the price, more flexibility and it’s held up great for me thus far

      @@MotoHeadKyle bro I’m telling you! Lol and thanks for the advice I’ll have to look into that mount. I’ve never fully dug into the law abiding biker mount

      @@bigbaggerben you’re welcome! The Rockform is great, but I’d rather save half the price and not have to rock one of their cases. Let me know what you end up going with!

    It’s great on stock bars but on meathooks not liking it as much. On the AM bars, you either block your controls on the right hand (which isn’t a huge deal for anyone that’s been riding more than a casual weekend), or you have to mount upside down (like I did) and the case takes a lot of force since the magnet isn’t resting against the stand. Had to get a warranty replacement on my case and ended up buying a mount for the cage too. Great products.

      Yes, as far as the quality goes it’s great, love the phone cases as well with the magnets. But I agree with my factory 47’s I’ve had to adjust the mount many of times to get it close enough to how I want it and I’ve ran into the same issue where the Magnet isn’t resting against the stand. However I mostly keep my phone in the cubby anyways. Just wish you had a way to tilt your screen. Thanks for watching!

      @@MotoHeadKyle I love CarPlay on the display but I’ve reached the “throw it in the cubby” stage too

      @@JeremyEGuzman especially with having a road glide don’t even need a phone holder lol

      @@MotoHeadKyle you have to love our TWO big glove boxes! I love being able to see my phone though in case I need to handle something at a stop light. If Rokform would make the mount specific to Harley by extending it so the phone sits lower, that would be awesome. Flipping it upside down isn’t the best solution.

    Great mount. I put it on mine attached to the right brake caliper mount because the screws it came with were too short for anywhere else. I also had to go match some bolts at the local hardware for it to work correctly, No big deal just sucked to have to go do a run to match bolts for thread and length for it to work.

      Thanks Eric! I really find the Rockform
      Case helpful with the magnet! You can pretty much stick your phone anywhere 😂 thanks for always watching and commenting, I appreciate that!

    I installed this mount on my road glide then removed it when I decided that I did not want to have my huge phone on my bars. The curvature of the mount is not the same as the perch clamp. It left 4 indentions (one at each corner of the mounting surface) in the paint, meaning that the mount did not have a solid connection with the bike. I could only imagine what those marks would look like after a few thousand miles of riding. If you get time or even if you want to, remove the mount and see what kind of damage or no damage is done to the perch clamp.

    Hi, I have factory 47 handle bars on my Street Glide Special and I ran into the same issue. I couldn’t figure out what was happening because all my friends who have 1.5 inch bars had no such issues so I was like why am I having this problem so I kept pushing ended up scratching my mount and my housing clamp!
    Can you please tell me the size of the screws so I can order them

    • @MotoHeadKyle
      @MotoHeadKyle  ปีที่แล้ว

      Unfortunately I looked and can’t find the box with the thread pitch. Take one to your local hardware store, they’ll be able to tell you what thread pitch you have. Also, I went with 2.5 inch in length screws which are a tad too long. However 2inch is way too short. So I had to rig up some old spacers I had laying around from other miscellaneous things.
