    Hey Raj, finally ! Thank you for this review. I have decided to go for a Thunderbird 500 instead of 350 as per your riders comparison.. this will be my secondary bike specially for long highway rides whereas I would keep my Pulsar as primary for office travel n all, I am considering more power this time so 500CC is a good deal to hit on.. Thanks again bro for this review.. ! Cheer's !

    Rust sabse badi problem hai sab Royal Enfields bike me. inke parts me bohot jaldi zung lagjata hai...kyunki company bohot cheap material use krti hai, to sell the bike with in an average Indian range. kahi tou compromise krengy na. ;)

    I owned a 1996 500 bullet with a cozy sidecar. It was far from trouble free,losing parts due to excessive vibration and generally lacking the power I expected from the bike in general. But it was the most fun I ever had with a bike every one thought was from the fifties. After owning it for 4 years I traded it for a 1977 BMW 1000 which lasted me only one full year before a major break.Now several years and many bikes later I'm looking at reinvesting in a brand new 500 Bullet. it would be 5000.00$ cheaper than buying a UralWhats happened to Royal Enfield in Canada?
    I tried to buy one here but the 2006 were unavailable.I got this from the main importer
    "Thank you for the opportunity to give you a quote. I wish I could help you however we did not receive our Royal Enfield shipment this year.
    They are getting bigger and are currently in a transitioning period. I currently have a extensive list of people awaiting there return.
    Would you like to join the list? "
    If they want my business they need to be available for purchase.
    I wanted a Cozy sidecar being 64 but I can't get the bike to put it onto.That is so frustrating. I loved the 1996 bullet I had and regret selling it in 2010. Now i would do almost anything to get it back

    Hi! Booked for TB 500cc. Like to apprise me the following: 1. Was the rear view mirror problem solved to avoid vibrations? 2. Fuel tank indicator and neutral indicator problem?3. Gear shifting, how smooth and comfortable? If you may add some more inputs apart from what you explained in your video. Well narrated.

    I think there is something in the rain or climate of Mumbai which causes the bike parts to rust.. in ur earlier video of classic 350, the silencer was rusted too. I myself own a classic 350 and I didn't face any rusting problem nor did any of my friends who own other royal Enfields. please clear this doubt for viewers, so they don't think that RE rusts too much.. Love ur videos.. thanku☺

      Seawater typically contains about 3.5% sodium chloride, although the salinity may be weakened in some areas by dilution with fresh water or concentrated by solar evaporation in others. Seawater is normally more corrosive than fresh water because of the higher conductivity and the penetrating power of the chloride ion through surface films on a metal. The rate of corrosion is controlled by the chloride content, oxygen availability, and the temperature.

    Rusting of RE parts is a very common problem. Some parts and nuts start rusting even after 6 months of buying a new RE motorcycle. 2 or 3 episodes of rain and junking starts.

  • @SUKHBIRBONNY
    @SUKHBIRBONNY 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    Nice Video Raj, 👌👍 @3:49 you mentioned that the handle bar bracket needs to be replaced after 1-2 years but in my opinion i think getting it powder coated is more cost effective 😉

    • @RajeevAcharyaRidewithRaj
      @RajeevAcharyaRidewithRaj  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      SUKHBIR the problem is powdercoat also peaks off so the part is cheap and recently I am more of part replacing guy it works that's the best way nowadays in old times I use to do all that but now the quality is compromised so I prefer replacement

    Hi Raj, why is it that only thunderbird gets disc brakes at back tyres and all other models get drum brakes? Why is RE doing this?

    • @livingpiano
      @livingpiano 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Because of the increased torque, weight and power of the 500 cc , drum brakes are meant to take lesser load - not very effective rear disc in TB 500

  • @yashbhamare5010
    @yashbhamare5010 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hey Raj! Do you think any RE's speed will improve if you use a silencer that compresses the noise instead of the stock noisy ones??? because when you stand behind an RE you can feel hell of thump , maybe it loses thr power there! What do you think???

    • @aashwinchadha1089
      @aashwinchadha1089 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't think so... But It can be a possibility that if u get the thump compressed it might mess up the engine too... I am not sure though...!

    • @RajeevAcharyaRidewithRaj
      @RajeevAcharyaRidewithRaj  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yash Bhamare that's a very technical question, yes this can happen but as per all the measures taken by RE that's the max they could do it so that they do not sacrifice the thump which people are looking for

      Rajas Malkhedkar
      petrol locks are available for royal Enfield carbaurater engined bikes such as electra and std variants...thunderbird 500 and others fuel injections doesn't have petrol on and off switch...why ?... coz it's fuel injection engine

      Abinash Patnaik street 750 in traffic will make you feel the heat below your legs if that is ok 👌 why don't u take a test ride ??second option for sure is suitable

    Hey Raj, I have one question....I will be really happy if you can provide me your suggestions....
    I bought a TB 500 and its just been 10 days and I am continuously hearing tappet noise while bike is running and even during idle state....this tappet noise is worrying me a lot and not allowing me to enjoy the actual thump. I went to service center and try to get it fixed but still its not resolved and service center guys says its quite common as its TB 500 - Is it so ?
    Can you please suggest your inputs, may be what would you have done if situation is same with you.
    I will be really grateful if you can provide your valuable inputs to overcome this tappet noise issue.

    sirji good video.
    sir iss bike ko jab bhi Dhekta achi lagti hai lekin isska back mudgard or isski leanth dhek ke acha nahi lagta hai. Ye bike tohdi lambi and fat tyre hone chahiye tab mast lagegi (sorry sirji i am not written in angrezi because my angrezi thodi kamzor hai)✌
