I got lucky to find a old model 3 that juat needs some minor repair. I prefer that longer blade to the new version. Going to pair it with the new 1/0. Good video, the mora classic 3 never got much attention.
For myself is newer model ideal, usables , thikness, longer blade, grip handle, colour, oldschool look.. For one knife trips...when is longer and longer blade is easier broke blade.. with Light Split or when knife drop on Hard ground.. Stones area..
Hi Marek, I've just found your channel and subbed to you. Where in the world are you? I have one of those knives and it's great for feather sticks. Good luck with your channel. Have a great day and stay safe. James
Hi, yes all Mora are very good,. Especialy i Like Classic series these the Best cheap knife for Bushcraft Ing.. I from Slovakia which is in East part of Europe.. Thanks for watching and subbed my chanel👍
Is little smaller than old model and look Like more better on final look and has nicer colour of handle.. I think is better than old model but little over price😉 but is still Best lowend bushcraft knife.
@@marekturcan Thanks! its between model 2 or 3. I think 3, then i make my own leather sheath puukko model. Is carbon steel C100 same about 1095 in hardnes?
@@MaNi-cn7to Yes new 2020-3 is some Like between 2 and 3 number but more to 3, C100 is app same to 1095 to hardness 58hrc +- Pukko sheath Will be great on this model👍
@@MaNi-cn7to C100 is similar to 1095 but they are not the same steel. C100 that Mora uses, is a cleaner alloy, let's say it's a better quality 1095 steel. Properly sharpened, these knives can easily get scary sharp, probably the sharpest knives out there (not the sliciest knives because of the nature of scandi grind but they get, the sharpest edge you can get on a knife) PS, I would choose the No2 over the no3, not only for the more managable size, but also because you can't get the advantages of a larger knife, since it's a pushtang wooden handle knife (light use knife only) there is no reason, to get the larger No3, you don't get any advantage, you get more diasadvantages. That's also the reason, that the Classic No2,is their most popular knife from the Classic series, while the No3 is the least popular.
Love the work you have done on your classic 2 handle
good video, even if I do not understand everything, and thank you

No3 is big boy blade😁 All Classic Mora series are very good allround knifes👍
It's a shame there are no subtitles.. Still, thank you for the useful video.
