Hi Pranjal, I have a very young friend of mine who just started a job(in an NBFC) in a very remote place in Odhisa. I have seen him and his family's condition with my own eye's and I feel so pity for them. You can imagine two boys of 12-13 years(back then in 2016 when I was posted there), breaking big stones into small pieces and they said they will build their home when asked, and that too some distance away from home and they do it everyday before going to school. I have been supporting him financially(whenever required), mentally as much as I can. I want him to be financially strong in the next 20 years time, understand the value of money management, understand the value of investing. He respects me a lot, he does whatever I say. I have convinced him to invest some amount right from the 1st salary(in december) that he gets. I believe, since he is young and he has got so much time, I can suggest him a midcap or a small cap mutual fund to start with?? So I am eagerly waiting for your next two videos on Midcap and Smallcap. I will also suggest him to watch your videos, so that he understands investing, money management and all things related to financial knowledge.
What if I already invested in some other large and mid cap fund. Option 1 - Should I stop SIP in that fund and start SIP in this new fund. Option 2 - Redeem all the amount from existing one and invest in new fund
Thank you Pranjal & and team, for coming up with this video. I have been following your content for couple of years now. It would be great if you could share the top performers(may be top 3 or 5) instead of single fund. In last years video, we were shown that data, this time only the process is shared, but it would be helpful if you could share the funds list as well, like it was done last year. In last years video, the list used to start with 10 MFs & then slowly last 5 & 3 funds were shown & finally the leader details were shared. Please share the list in that way if possible. Thank you once again!!!

Thankyou sir My question is ,I want to start new sip of this fund is this right time in falling market? Please pick this question and explain little more.
I have Mirae Asset Large & Mid Cap. Should I switch this fund? I should tell in context of my entire portfolio i think. I have following funds, all are held for last 5-6 years 1. Parag Parekh Flexi Cap 2. Mirae Asset Large & Mid Cap 3. Quant Mid Cap 4. SBI Small cap. I have fixed deposits in bank for emergency fund. I don't like them to put in liquid fund. My age is now 28. I started investing in 2018. Initially i was puzzled and switched funds too many time in first year. Then i settled for these funds.
Same here i have done a lot of switching in my initial first two years then settled with 4 funds, my list also include the above mentioned fund except for Quant midcap, I have kotak emerging equity. Investing since I started my job in 2018. Mirrae large & midcap is giving great return and I don't have any reason to switch as of now.
I don't think you need to switch at all, mirae asset large and mid cap is an excellent fund, and your portfolio allocation is also excellent just continue with this, look to set-up your SIP from time to time and enjoy the benefits of compounding 😊
I may agree with the views. but please tell us what if we are already investing fund/category from last 3-4 years. How to move to new funds in best way?
So friends now i know upcoming funds 1) LargeCap :- HDFC index fund BSE sensex plan direct growth 2) Large and mid cap :- Kotak equity opportunities fund 3) Flexi cap fund :- Parag Parikh flexi cap fund 4) Small Cap fund :- Axis small cap fund.
If in the same category i am invested in a different fund then should i stop my current SIP and start in the recommended fund or should i remove my funds from old fund and add in this ?
Hello sir, I started sip in this mutual fund last year in February after watching your videos. It has given returns more than 30% in almost 2 years. It is still giving me 15-16% returns in such a market conditions. I am happy that I started sip in this mutual fund.😊 Thank you
Sir should we completly avoid investing in new funds with no past record ? I have just started my investment in Helios large and midcap fund what's your advice? Should I continue investing or switch considering my investment is for next 5 years. Please advise 🙏
My view differs slightly from others. If you know the fund manager and their style and it aligns with your requirements, then even if it is a new fund, you can invest with it. Fund manager track records matter very much. Just because it is a new fund, we should not ignore funds from AMCs like Helios and Oldbridge.
I am investing in Axis growth opportunities fund since 3 years. It was giving good returns initially but I think since ban on foreign investment this fund is not performing as expected. Please advise on this.
Thanks @Pranjal Kamra. Large & Midcap also have small cap funds in smaller percentage, Felxicap and multicap also has them . Whether someone with moderate risk apetite should invest in all 3 categories or just one and why ? What category should be chosen in that case ? When do we need to invest in balanced advantage fund ? Is Gold & Silver ETF investment good for now ? I know asked 3 different questions, hope to see them answered in your future videos.
Dear investes, simply invest in 4 funds only whatever your amount is in same ratio... Index nifty 50, One Midcap fund , one small cap, one gold fund, and if u are investing in same funds whatever company u choose, don't sell, go ahead with investing for longer time, don't redeem and change companies.
Good to see a fellow Raipurian make it big… My question is regarding Mirae Large and Mid Cap Fund. Do you suggest to switch to Kotak from this for existing SIPs?
Hi Pranjal and team: Request to kindly cover factor index funds. And if they don’t make it through, then please also share why you think it makes sense to not include them. I think, it would cater to the broader question :) Thank you.
Hello Sir. First of all thank you for making such educative videos. I am 38 yrs old and have started investing in Mutual fund from last year. But Sir my concern is that i am investing around 15k per month but my no of mutual funds is around 8 which I am afraid will average out the profit.
Hi Pranjal ji, a request - like last year do share your views whether investors should invest in small cap and multi cap this year. Last year I recollect you said you prefer large and midcap fund over multicap and also you had concerns over small cap valuations. Thank you 😊
It depends on your goals and holding duration. If the investment horizon is more than 12 years, you can even go for a small cap index fund.. which can outperform even the large cap funds over a long period. Good luck 🤞
Sir me bhi Kotak Equity Opportunities Fund Direct Growth me pichle 1 saal se invested raha hun..but sir iska to NAV bohot zyada he.. issiliye soch raha tha ki exit lelu ..but sir phir aaj apka video dekha ..ab to invested he rahunga ..pakka🤞
Hi Pranjal sir! I have a doubt here. I am considering to invest in both - stocks and MF. If I invest in mutual fund (sensex index fund that you suggested in last video) and invest in stocks by Finology 30. Most of the companies will be same in both my stock portfolio and my mutual fund. So is it worth going for finology 30?
I am investing in Mirae Asset Large and midcap fund since last 7 years. Formerly it was known as Mirae asset emerging bluechip funds. Is this fund still good to continue or i should switch to this recommend fund? I know recently Mirae fund has underformed.
Dear Pranjal, in the large cap video you said that 30 companies are enough for diversification then why 50-60 company funds in this category, if we know that benefit of diversification won't be that much
Your recommendation is ok. But my question is if someone having long-term view and is invested in mirae large and midcap from last 4 years then what to do ? Shall switch to your recommendation or can be with that fund. Bcoz mirae large and midcap fund is also a good fund.
i am investing in mirrae large & midcap from 2018 and it is giving good return and I don't want to switch to any other fund just because someone is recommending. Rest is up to you brother.
Sir, thank you so much for your valuable mutual fund selection videos! I’ve found them incredibly helpful. However, I’ve noticed that most of your suggestions focus on equity mutual funds. It would be great if you could also share some insights on debt mutual funds, so we can consider allocating a portion of our investments in them as well. Really appreciate your hard work, and thank you once again!

Does Kotak large and mid cap fund has beaten its index over the long run? If it has beaten the nifty largeMidcap 250 index fund by 2-3%, does it deserve the expense ratio ?
Sir as per your past recommendation, currently i am investigating via SIP of 20 thousand in Mirae asset emerging Bluechip fund from December 2018. Should I change this. And I have 8 Lac lumpsum investment in Axis growth opportunity fund from January 2020. Should I change above funds.?
Question: Smart Beta funds seem to be an interesting option these days. Could you please share which would be a better choice or why is Kotak Equity Opportunities Fund a better choice over Nifty 200 Momentum 30 Index?
Sir I appreciate ur work ....sir my one concern is can you this year replace any with mirae asset NYSE FANG+ETF FUnd ..because before some time ago fund company not taken sip...can u replace with new or Stay with him n u wait kr start again sip by mirae
Hi Pranjal, I'm a big fan of your work and effort that you put in. I wanted to know your opinion on the Zerodha ELSS largemidcap 250 fund. As I have to fulfill my 80C quota I want to invest in ELSS.

Awesome ...motilal oswal mid cap fund is out n out mid cap fund..kotak emerging is right blend of risk reward with cautious approach ..ensuring largecap stability n mid cap opportunity...thanks sir
what is the problem if i choose to invest in largecap , midcap ,smallcap and microcap index fund instead of active ones..please tell me..i am confused..i have heard that index funds are better than active funds..does this apply to only largecap?..what aboudt midcap, smallcap and microcap index funds? does active fund of these respective index funds also underperfom as comparetively

I am investing in Kotak Opprtunity & Mirae Large and mid. As you suggested last year. Should i continue with these. As Neelesh & Harsha both are my Fav fund managers after Rejeev sir. Please give some commentary on this in your next videos. Thanks
Sir if we want to take the benefit of fall in a particular index like sensex or midcap 150 then in that case would it not be better that we buy large cap and midcap fund seperately so that we can buy the dip seperately. Please guide sir
Thank you sir to you and your team for all of your efforts. I have one query: Can you please explain in your QnA session that comparing Large and Midcap fund and Flexicap fund which one is better for Return adjusted Risk. Thank you .
I'm investing in HDFC sensex index fund and Parag Parik flexi cap fund, so can I skip this Large & midcap fund or do I need to invest for better diversity. And also please make a video on best liquid fund or any other options where we can keep the capital instead of savings account for emergency.

Does Kotak large and mid cap fund has beaten its index over the long run? If it has beaten the nifty largeMidcap 250 index fund by 2-3%, does it deserve the expense ratio ?
How many funds should be in portfolio?
Last year you suggested for parag parikh this year you suggested for HDFC sensex. Should I stop parag parikh or continue with the new suggested fund?

Sir🙏 ,aap 3 saal se parag parikh flexi cap recommended kar rehe ho as per knowledge👔, es saal ager aap parag parikh flexi cap ko recommended karna to uske sath🤲 or 1 dusra recommended karna kyuki parag parikh ka minimum investment amounts double hogaya hai or jo daily income 👷♂️ or less income🐢 walo ko possible nahi hoto hai ki usme invest🌱 kar paye

Share about flexi cap and also what is best time to invest in lumpsum? Because market is crashing... Crash = Investment ✅
@@somenkabiraj6942 Bro small suggestion is do not predict the market just do SIP every single month, because nobody know about market fall may be some time you get right predication but lumpsum give you hight returns and Low returns also but SIP give you consistent returns on the long term period 12-14% CAGR, I think you get my point.
