This should go without saying but for some reason I’m on here clarifying this. These dogs will not be called American Bulldogs if we are able to accomplish this breeding and have resulting offspring that will work and be included in our future breedings.

You would think the outcome would be very similar to an American Staffordshire Terrier. More mass & height. Very curious to see the outcome if it's successful. You should DNA a couple of pups just to see how the percentages split. Good luck!🎉

Your insight and consideration is rare. Your vision and depth of breeding will go a long way to produce a top notch line.

I would definitely do that breeding, but only if I was keeping them all and testing the individuals. Hopefully you keep them, and then if you have any that are really human aggressive, I would like them myself.

Definitely not keeping them all but will keep a couple and I’m going to try to get these pups in some peoples hands that will be willing to possibly keep me updated and work with me in the future with breeding back, etc.

🤔 A Staffordshire Bull terrier would probably be too small but an “American Staffordshire Terrier “ would be a better choice if you want the trainability, size, strength and better disposition.
The Staffordshire bull terrier is too hot blooded. Many are infused with the Irish staffs game dogs.

You can NOT base everything on the breed as a whole. You look at the individual dog and that’s what I’ve done. I’m in no way shape or form interested in adding an American Staffordshire Terrier just for the simple fact I haven’t witnessed one behave the way our American Bulldogs and our SBT does. I want smaller than the Amstaff too by the way. I swear I believe people read stuff and then just start repeating it. Many staffs may be to drivey and hot, ours is not. He can be around the animals on the farm and so could his Dad so I have to imagine those traits will continue to be passed down.
