@@kaythough9604 Yeah, but my first thought was Penguin 2 - and Articuno actually ends up being better because it doesn't draw an inference of actually existing / having a geographical location. I think Cold / Iceland were always going to be a trouble pair for NL. It was a really good clue anyways.

The Codenames/Among Us crossover NL recommends is genius and already exists! It is called “Chameleon” and I would love to see him and the NLSS crew play it! Always looking forward to what you do next NL

Red vs blue. Each team has a leader who knows which words they need their teammates to guess. Turns go back and forth between the teams. Each turn has the leader of the team give a word and a number, the word is a hint relating to certain words on the board which the leader wants the teammates to guess, the number is how many words are related to the hint. (example, leader says fruit 3, because he wants to guess the words pineapple, bowl, and tomato.) After the word and number are given, the leader's teammates guess one word at a time and it is determined by the leader whether the word was suppose to be guessed by their team, the other team, is neutral, or the one word that instantly loses them the game. If it was the right word that belonged to their team, their teammates can keep guessing another word, if it was anything else then their turn ends and the other team leader givens a word and number for their turn. Also, the guessers on a team can guess a total number of words up to the number given by the team leader +1, but they can pass their turn at anytime. The game ends when a team guesses all their words or if the enemy team guesses the 1 word that instantly loses them the game.

@@Liesel217 Nothing major happened at all really. Just a lot of schedule changes and peeps like Malf and Apollo doing a lot more content that's separate from just the NLSS. So NLSS's are far less frequent nowadays.

steve from blues clues aka steve burns actually has a music career and has worked with steve drozd of the flaming lips. he has described his time as host of blues clues as a frustrating experience. his music is pretty good, indie pop flaming lips-ish stuff.
Sorry if you've gotten the question a lot but what happened to the normal NLSS uploads. I don't watch live on Twitch very often so I'm a bit out of the loop.
NL's stream structure and schedule has changed along with co-hosts getting more views doing their own things, so the NLSS as you remember it is much less common, if not gone altogether. He still collabs with people and banters over games but not in the 3 hour show format.
I've played this board game many times. It is nice to watch others play it for once.
It is so tough getting my family to understand how the spymaster should behave. 1 word, 1 number. No giving further hints.

You guys weren't making these mistakes, but those I play with irl just can't seem to get it right.
Quick tip: as the spymaster, you can click on the words you want to give a clue for, and it will automatically select the number for you.
