You’re a hero. I know this is from 8 years ago and you won’t see this but thank you. My Precalculus textbook by James Steward doesn’t offer a way to factor these types of polynomials so this is great help!
The fact that i didn't learn a single thing because my math teacher didn't taught us this and just decided to give us homework about factoring trinomials, and honestly i wanted to tell my math teacher how i hated him for doing that
is it just me or is this dude the best math teacher ever? schools should just put his videos on a projector and it’d be more beneficial than the average math teacher
this was verry hepful using your steps to code part of a program (who need to pull out or do fancy factoring stuff though computery dosent care) thank you btw the program is for adding/subtracting rational eqiuations
I’m just now realizing that the “X” factoring method that works for x^2 +bx+c also works for ax^2 +b+c. The X favoring method is the exact same as the one shown above but it’s just drawn out visually a little differently
*Me who is following everything*: oh this is easy! *The video*: if this if this factors are the same, you're in the right tract *me who following, but doesn't get the same factor*: Le confusion
THANK YOU. My other videos for class never broke down how to get the value for the second parentheses. I kept overthinking it (True to my nature on that one).
I bench 200 kilograms, have a phd in physics and mathematics. I have 30 A* in my GCSE’s, I have placed first in 28 STEM related competitions, 195 IQ, and on top of that I own a successful business worth 8 figures. Trust me buddy we are not the same.
In 5:05 you multiply 1 by 3, why is this? The leading coefficient is 1, so why do we multiply by -3? I thought the rule was that we only multiply by the end number if the coefficient does not equal to 1, thanks

Used this to create notes to study.
My teacher expects us to learn very fast and I am s slow learner so this is a great help to me. Thank you.
Same thank you so much
I was on the verge of having a mental breakdown, THANK YOU :)

This was so helpful!! You explain things so simply and it feels so much less condescending than so many other math teaching videos
This man doesn’t understand how gifted he is at teaching algebra. I thank you so much

Thank you for explaining it the way no one else would!

didn't understand how factoring trinomials worked but i definetly recommend this video. very helpful.

Thankyou!! I finally understand this. You are so much better that my algebra teacher.
Better explained than a textbook. Who knew mark wahlberg was so good at maths XD great video bud!
Best mathematics lessons ever. I pass because of this guy ngl 🥳
I learned in a long way that I could not understand and YOU just make the process simple , THANKS
this is the dumbest thing I will ever learn in math this year

Its even more harder than i thought ,there's too many!! looks like my brain is going to explode
Thank you! This concept is easier to understand
Thanks to this I got a 92 percent on a test I probably would have got a 33 percent on

Factoring trinomials is really hard; thanks for the help🤗
great job keep it up
Man's just explained this 30 minutes faster than my teacher in one problem
Man taught me in a minute and six seconds what took my teacher an entire week.
To be fair the kids in my class have room temperature iq.
What do you do if the "bx" is a negative while both the "ax2" and "c" are both positives?
You add a negative for both of the numbers you put in.
You explained better than my teacher rn
The fact that i didn't learn a single thing because my math teacher didn't taught us this and just decided to give us homework about factoring trinomials, and honestly i wanted to tell my math teacher how i hated him for doing that
Hi , why did we keep the number two in the ending of the equation?? At 5:30
Please answer me 🌚
Yo, ok so he didnt need to seperate the 2, i tried it out and when i seperated the 2 and when i didnt the answer was still the same
The equation on 5:48 do you only do this if u can divide the middle by 2? Or any other number
I learned more in 15 minutes than I did in 2 weeks in school.
I was absent for a couple of days. Thank You
you made 6:11 so complicated my answer was (x-1)(2x+6) and if you multiply them its also correct

At 5:41 can't you just do -6 * 2 and get -12 and then split it into -6 + 2 to get -4?
Why not!
