2022/2023 NFHS POE's - Hand checks, post play & off ball plays (OI meeting previously recorded)

This was so helpful. During a pregame 2 man crew we discussed this. First qrt was ugly but we called all two hands and left one hands the whole qrt. Second qrt maybe two happen. 2nd half one.
The one in the 2nd half, I'm not sure I noticed completely the one hand all the way through pushing if I hadn't watched this.
Partner said in post game "I think we're consistent as team tonight and I think we helped make that 2nd half cleaner and avoid any possible scuffles."

You know whats crazy? I think I get why most of my drives to the basket don't work. Players are hand checking me too much. And being only 110lbs, a simple hand check prevents me from driving. I think I will call these hand checks more often loll.

As coach get it right, as a player get it right. As an official please kill your ego. Get better the game deserves. There is no level it can rise to to warrant you being ok with an official calling your area. Get better
