- Thanks to the Local Spiritual Assembly of the Baha’is of Santa Monica, California, we’re happy to share with everyone this set of talks held at the Santa Monica Baha’i Centre given by Professor Amin Banani in 2003 on "The World Order of Baha’u’llah”.
Professor Amin Banani has authored numerous scholarly works and was a longtime professor of Persian history and literature at the University of California, Los Angeles. He served the Baha’i Faith in a wide range of roles including being a member of the Board of Trustees of Ḥuququ’llah for the United States for more than two decades, and also an advocate for the Baha’i Faith at the United Nations. He and his wife, Sheila, were Knights of Baha’u’llah for their role in the founding of the national Baha’i community of Greece. Professor Banani passed away on July 28, 2013 at the age of 86.

Quran was sent upon muhammad (sm) as a symbol of god. And it is not written by any people but god. Because many of verses of quran is scientifically proved but not a single one was found wrong. Every prophet had some kind of prophecy power which marked them truth. Suppose, Esha or jews had the power to rebirth a dead man. Musa had the godly power in his stick. Hazrat muhammad sm once divided the moon by his prophecy power. What was the supernatural power of baha ullah? I am asking
Baha'u'llah's supernatural power was the power to unite people even when they hated one another through the power of the Truth. Its a power this world desperately needs.

@@banglameditation2155 Most thinkers and philosophers have the power to inspire like minded people to be a little better, and be more open minded in their lives. The best of philosophers might have the ability to do so in a way that their followers stop hating one another.
Baha'u'llah's power was different. He had the ability to unify people of different Faiths and cultures who were openly hateful towards one another in one Common Cause. Not only this, but His teachings had the power to remove this hatred and transform it into Love, to the point that they were willing to sacrifice their lives for one another. Great philosophers don't inspire their followers to give their lives for their teachings. This is a power that only comes from God to His chosen Ones. No human can accomplish this.
Hi Asif - There are many "miracles" or "supernatural powers" attributed and documented with both the Bab and Baha'u'llah. However in the Baha'i Faith, miracles are not a proof of anything. Even if you study the Holy Quran, Prophey Muhammad (PBUH) said the same thing. Prophet Muhammad (I forget the Surah) says that the infidels asked him to perform miracles as proof.
In the Baha'i Faith, the proof of any Messenger or Prophet is for one to go and read their teachings and writings. Do the teachings have an affect on your life? Do you get a better understanding of Reality by reading them and studying them. These are the proofs, the words themselves.
When I studied Islam, or Judaism, or Buddhism.... I didn't care to hear about supernatural powers. These things were important for people who saw them during their own time, for me living in the 2000's the only proof is reading the words and teachings. Studying the words of the Buddha, or Prophet Muhammad or the teachings in the Bible... these were what I read and pondered.

**this should be on a Catholic calendar,,, because the Baha'i prophet,, declared that Jesus Christ is a pure PROPHET OF GOD.... If you read any of the Baha'i writing she would know this.... God-sent man many prophets,,, each with the message,, that was necessary for the moment in time that they came...**kind of makes sense if you think about it... But most people don't think... They follow blindly..**

All of the great Prophets,, were sent by the ONE TRUE GOD.. there's no real difference in the messages,, from these great PROPHETS.... You only have to read the writings,,, with an open mind and without prejudice,,, to see this truth!!! BAHAULLAH,,, ACKNOWLEDGED CHRIST AND MUHAMMAD,,, AS TRUE PROPHETS OF GOD!!!! And he called upon all the world's religions to unite as one...he stated that the greatest gift that God gave man is discernment,,, and only asked,,, that we read his writings with an open mind without prejudice.. when I did this,, I felt the truth of his message,, and the power of his words,, and I had no doubt,, that he is a true prophet of God...**

Telling that a new religion calling for one world order established at some time the Marxist philosophy for the same was being disseminated. You cannot merge all religions unless you refute Christ’s divinity, which you cannot do without distroying Christianity which is what the Destroyer and greatest deceiver made his mission. Deception is always dressed up as appearing good when it is in fact evil. Christ is Lord and King He said No one comes to the Father but by me.
Baha'is do not refute Christ's divinity. Contact your local Baha'i Assembly and talk with them. Or do the research. In the end, believe what you will. Baha'is are not out to destroy your faith.
Did Christianity come to destroy Judaism ? No it was time for Christ to come ad bring new spiritual life to people of that age. Same with Islam and now Bahai Faith which has brought new teachings to prepare people for Golden Age where the teachings of the faith will be spread and all people of the earth will be united as one people, have one language, one currency , one script and etc.
@@rueG bahai via United Nations is building a type of Tower of Babel, it is counterfeit. My Father in heaven has given all authority and rulership to His begotten son Yeshuhua (Jesus), King of kings and Lord of Lords. Every knee will bow and confess Jesus Christ is Lord. Man must be born again of the Life-giving Spirit and no effort by fallen man can obtain it without first coming to the cross of Jesus who shed his blood for our redemption. Without the shedding of blood there is no remission for sin. The Father and God gave His son as the perfect sacrifice to reconcile us back to the Father. Try it and see that this is true. Self righteousness will never stand before a Holy God, only the righteousness that is inputed to those who come to the cross of the righteous son Jesus. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life and no one comes to the Father and God except through Jesus.
@@listening2all you should study progressive revelation. It means , God our father sends His new messengers based on the needs of that age to make the world a better place for His children (us).
The world now is in need of a new teacher and that Baha”u”llah ( Glory of God) is the one. Christians having been praying for second return of Christ and now that He is here yet they are denying Him and ignore His message.
@@rueG I was born into Catholic faith. I believed but wasn't born of the Life-giving Spirit until I searched with all my heart soul and body. I looked at everything but after 14 months I came to the conclusion and said "God I know who you are, you were with Jesus and He died for our sin". Next second I was in His presence, I felt like a filthy rag in His sight, (before this I would have considered myself a good person), His unconditional love was tangible and penetrated my whole being, I sobbed and repeated "thank you, I'm sorry". Then I said "why is your heart so far away from ours, what I thought was" good" isn't?" He walked with me for 6 days, 7th day He left I thought I must have sinned. The 8th day, 2 days after Christmas, my parents brought over a gift from my Aunty (we never give each other gifts especially Christmas gift), it was a book called Good Morning Holy Spirit. The first thing I read was "i have not abandoned you or forsaken you but I am giving you the Holy Spirit who will comfort, teach and lead you into all truth". 30 years later and the gift of the Holy Spirit (life-giving spirit) is always there to teach and lead. God writes the laws on our hearts, convicts us and shapes our character daily. My brother finally was born again and he like me wants everyone to experience the love, mercy, forgiveness and newness that is found in the promised seed God spoke of in the beginning, Jesus was the promised seed. He said on the cross "it is finished". Buddah on his deathbed said to his servant he was not the first or the last (alpha and omega) but one is coming who's name is maitreya (means love) about 500 years from now. Jesus born 496 years later and claims "I am the alpha and the omega". Confucious said "there is one who is coming from above and down". Jesus claims to have come down from above. Jesus is the saviour of the world and judge to come. Being "good" is not not being born again. Religious spirit types are not being born again. Jesus was not born of an earthly father, like first Adam, Jesus is referred to as the second Adam, he is the firstborn of a new creation. Hoping you might search about Jesus, sin, etc and come to faith too and experience the new life, you will know, your spirit within will cry Father/source/home and you will be made new with the Life-giving Spirit teaching you.
