WOW this week was only okay:

Anyway, this episode was too long and too full. Some interesting things:
- mannqueen knew they weren't winning, but I think coming in 4th with viewer votes was hurtful
- so why are people trolling or attacking Bebe? Or BADA herself? Don't come at Bada. I, too, think Jam Republic gave, overall, the better performance as a whole, but Bebe had a great story, they showed growth, they went viral & both of their final performances were A+. But speaking of...
- Bebe's Rihanna performance was great but why the Oregon Trail theme? But it was iconic they chose cockiness & s&m
- Mannaqueen (Mannequeen??) gave the best global artist performance. They did Lady Gaga a favor. Their second performance was cute...I think Christina Aguilera needs a kpop debut
- 1Million, they did have that 10+ million views the show wouldn't let us forget tonight. I was worried they'd do Bang Bang getting Ariana Grande but...
- Jam Republic's Beyonce performance was just okay...they've given such stellar performances this season that their Beyonce was a bit of a letdown. But their ending mission performance? AMAZING. One of the best this season.

3:13 this was actually them paying homage to the “escape the corset” movement which is a feminist movement in korea to free women from the patriarchal beauty standards imposed on them

ohh that's dope!! Now their second performance blends so well with the meaning of that. I just wish the reveal didn't take so long :X but really though, I love that they did that, especially being in Korea itself. I wonder if any Koreans took offense to it? You know the ones I mean (the sexist ones lmao).

not saying bebe didn't deserve to win BC THEY DEFINITELY DESERVE THE WIN, but if it was truly a global show jam def would have won, their mission views alone are proof of that
@@spamanthatactually in international bebe can fight with Jr for the spot as bebe also has lots of international fans so you can't really say that Jr would have won no one really knows how many international fans they have
I think that as more SWF series come out eventually they will let a non-Korean group win, but not for their second season. That is nothing against Bebe, because I think they are outstanding and were on equal footing with JR for a lot of the season.
@@KiboyyahBebe's international support comes mainly from knowing Bada and the group's presence in kpop.
But Kirsten alone, supercedes the group and Bada in terms of worldwide fame, exposure, dance variety and experience. She has competed and won, many HipHop international competitions and works with her crew Royal Family and regularly with Rihanna Fenty, Justin Bieber and Jlo.
Although a new crew, JR's rep is stronger.in the international arena.
In the kpop arena, Bebe would be stronger.

Honestly whoever won didn't matter too much for me. They all ate and gave the best dance TV show in 2023. The Korean survival show has been so void since the end of SWF 1 (SMF didn't serve at all).
Honestly I agree that Mannequeen was too much of a serve to the regular people, but they really cater to the gays. I have been watching Waackxxxy & Yoonji battled for a long time and finally the world are able to see their skills in the TV.
I didn't expect to love JR this much too, To me the choreos I want to learn the most are theirs.
The breakout star that benefits the most from the show is actually Lady Bounce. They really went from underground and finally people acknowledge them as a team.
Regardless of Mnet's shadiness, I'm thankful that they give this show to us. I can't wait for SGF2!
Also Jay2 being an icon and stealing the show got me fr!!
YES finally some Lady Bounce appreciation, they def won even if they couldn't've reach finals. I am rooting for them, they have a bright future.
If we’re keeping it 100, I don’t think any SF season is going to be as good as SWF1. It felt different - the no respect battles and crew intro episodes was some of the best survival show tv I’ve ever seen. Everyone was playing at the same level, the stakes were high for everyone and there was a HUNGER to bring street dance out to the national stage.
But after that - smf and swf2 just felt a little too constructed and made to guarantee success. It literally shares the same formula as season 1. We don’t need s1 replicated bc there’s plenty of legitimate human stories still left untold from that space.
@@khaleesi7139 I'm with you 100% SWF 1 started it all, and thanks to all of the 8 crews, the public now are more interested in the dancer world (the back up dancers & the underground dancers). What I like about SWF 1 however, even though the public votes played a part, it was not the main determinant. If not, crew like YGX/Hook will definitely win. However, because they pioneered this movement and had no idea if the show would create such a buzz, they played it safe by using mainly judges' scoring system. It is apparent by how the top 4 are mix choreo and underground dancers, whereas SWF 2 are just popular groups.
I feel like SWF 2 is an upgrade with the presence of JR and Tsubakill, however I personally feel like the scoring relied too heavily on popularity which is why the top 4 are the most popular crews. It's kinda predictable honestly.
@arsenioarsenio373 honestly - I didn’t mind the voting system because to some degree, how the crew is being received publicly needs to be measured. However this shouldnt be the sole deciding factor because the public isn’t necessarily knowledgeable about dance as their industry experts are.
And let’s be real - if it was really ALL popularity, JR would’ve won. They withdrew international voting in the final round which to me was a clear effort to not have JR win. So SWF2 grand final had something other than popularity at play lol
But yeah, my personal pick for winner would’ve been Tsubakill. The challenges, the battles - when I watched it, it was clear there was an effort to edit down how good they were. Then after seeing some their content away from that environment - I’m convinced they had what it took to be best female dance crew. They simply couldn’t continue in the season because there would’ve been a foreign gf. That would’ve been a disaster lol.
So yeah, I just miss SWF1. It felt real. All the back stories felt legitimate.
☹️ I can’t believe it’s over already! Best season ever! Mnet did some evil editing which is mostly the reason for the backlash & hate! That was a great mix of dance crews! Jam Republic is my favorite but all the crews ate! Seeing all their unique styles and performances during missions & battles made the show exciting!
This is soooo true😂 The duo we deserve from the start. BadaXkirsten❤❤❤ I still believe they were the biggest benefactor of this show. Lia kim second, her and Mina moment was just 🤌🤌. I think this show showed her she got her crew again since the core 1mil left. That just adds to her depression but girl was a fighter. Harimu couldn't outshine the unnies so she settled for the biggest hype-person in the show. I love her and JJ's reacts hahahha

The thing about the live voting was that you needed to have a Korean number to vote so even if people in the west were awake they would not of been able to vote because believe me I tried and it did not work

This show was rigged from ep 1 till the end. Can’t believe they dared to call this a dance competition whereas while we already knew who is gonna win when they announce the voting system. RIDICULOUS, the most popular Koreans team will win and that’s exactly what happened not even surprising. At least if a Korean team has to be the winner MQ was the best. But bada’s popularity won over talent what ashame for the dance industry.
Right?!? Cause of that darn popularity vote MQ couldn't even have a chance at that trophy, and since only Koreans can vote it was quite obvious that JR wouldn't win too...
This is the most delusional and ridiculous opinion I've come across, i cannot😂😂😂😂 I dunno why some people has no common sense is beyond me. This show is pure entertainment that was catered to center stage DANCERS, PROFESSIONAL DANCERS. It was catered for the public that Dancers are also artists not just backup to singers and idols. And to think this are dancers that was popular DUE TO THEIR TALENT and some people couldn't wrap that around their heads. lol they were not IDOLS MEGHAAAD. Casual viewers have thoroughly enjoyed the show, only those rabid delulu fans/bandwagoners have been barking since the finale. lol.
@@jeankate9721 the real delulu fans are the users who post about bada ONLY while their usernames are “bada’s wife” “bada’s secret lover” which is why saying they’re popular due to their talent is not a good argument. Bada was the main star of the group. They were boring compared to other groups, every performance was the same. They put masks on and everyone’s acting like it’s some unique, out of this world, amazing performance...
Also don’t act like it had nothing to do with the fact that JR were foreigners. If they said they were a global show, they should’ve let global fans vote. Not just Korea. MNET is also known for rigging results.

Winning doesn’t fcking matter, none of the dancers really cared about the ranking...the main objective was to make it to the final 4 so you can get more screentime

The fact JR came second in the live text votes is amazing in itself! People reckon jam republic would have won if international voting was allowed but I don't think that's necessarily true as Bebe has a lot of international fans as well. I'm so disappointed for Mannequeen though. They deserve better
Bebe has far less international fame over JR. Kristen's popularity alone is higher than Bebes internationally.

I don’t even know Bebe…..and only because JR and mainly Kristen joined the show I heard of them. Not bad mouthing Bebe…because I believe they bonded so much with JR, but the fact that International viewers weren’t able to vote..and if they had…JR would have won. Besides all of that…..I think the show was good for many and I loved seeing the relationship built amongst dancers. I like all of them and each brought their own styles which was great. I think they need to do away with the popular voting and keep it with the professional judges to do the votes. So, this may have given the other groups greater chances as well.
nahh bebe's international fame doesn't come close to jam republic's- especially two members are literally from a global dance crew (royal family). So the results would be a lot different if global votes counted much higher than the korean live audience votes.

I agree with a lot of points made. The ending credit alone show why Bebe won (and I am Jammies) I still think a lot of the show was cater for 1Mil to win - from Mina Myoung presence, Hwasa challenge ect….
Mannequeen were most consistent and were really unlucky. Jammies did what they had to do.
Totally agree, I think if the show was "rigged" it was "rigged" in 1Mil's favor (I mean to pick Hwasa who has worked with 1Mil so much...) However Bebe, Mannequin, and JR showcased significantly better skills than 1Mil (imo).
Congrats to Bebe and all the other groups. I'm honestly glad its over so people can stop bickering and offending the other groups. Mannequeen will always be my no 1, but that is because I am very attracted to whacking/waacking, they did absolutely fantastic. I love them so much!

I didn't expect Mannequeen to be in 4th, 3rd at least or 2nd but not 4th. I was really hoping that JR would take the win but we all knew that was never gonna happen because...Korea. Bebe for 1st Mmmmmmm I don't think 1st was where they should've been placed. Overall, the ladies did an amazing job with their perfomances.
