I don't think enough people realize Draiman's talent. Everyone says "he has a distinct voice" which is true but this song in particular is absurdly difficult to sing. It's already difficult just in terms of hitting the right notes. Add in the timbre changes and again, it's just absurd. I was talking with a friend the other day and he pointed out that in terms of instrumentation, Disturbed is basically a power trio. Drummer, bassist, and one guitarist. True, but Draiman's voice is really an additional instrument. This band is just nuts.

David's voice is so damn unique....it's like another instrument......and he can change it on a dime, in SO MANY ways. It's actually unbelievable. I’ll admit at first I thought David’s vocals were ruining the amazing performance but as the song progressed the notes he was hitting was incredible. The very last “Be Immortalized” was insane. So glad that music like this still somewhat exists for my generation

Again Disturbed has amazed me by the music and David’s voice is once more incredible. My life is richer having heard another phenomenal performance by Disturbed.
I have kind of the same baritone voice that David has, and i have no freaking idea of how he reach all those notes, i've tried to sing a lot of Disturbed songs and the easier album to cover for me is "Asylum", because of the low register David uses in this record, however the songs of the other records are just imposible, no matter how i breath, i always break mi voice in songs like: Prayer (the most difficult in my opinion).

You guys need to understand that when he sings live, it's just his voice and his alone. This isn't the recording booth, where they can add effects and stuff to his voice for the album. He obviously can't mimic his EXACT vocal sounds from there.
You need to understand that not everyone is as naive as you because make no mistake, yes he can. He ABSOLUTELY can "mimic his EXACT vocals" live and I have heard it on several occasions. For whatever reason he simply chooses not to so during all live performances. I would dare guess that it is too detrimental to his voice. There is very little or no special effects used on his voice during studio production. It is there that he is using 100 percent of his vocal range.
Every year you grow older your voice changes, usually getting Deeper. His voice will never be what it was in 2001 or whatever, it`s impossible....Plus touring strains vocalists.... A lot of times they can not even talk after they are done with a show.

I listen to a lot of music, and a lot of different music. But I got to say, The Eye Of The Stom and Immortalized is the best, most badass and coolest intro on an album I've ever heard! Gives me goosebumps every time! Saw them live with avenged, and it was so good!
