@CptSabby You try doing that, laying there, see how long you last. I've tried, got killed by the first guy who ran past. If the game is frantic, the players are hungry for the action they will run past you. Anyone can camp "almost" anywhere in this game. The pace of the game doesn't allow the average player time to completely check the surroundings and be 100% certain that there's no one there.
I don’t see a problem with it, if you just play more carefully and keep your eyes open you should be able to spot people. But if hardcore comes out it’s a different story
My best BF memory is from there Whole squad was running down street. Last guy was in a ghillie. Tank came through and lit us up. He yelled im a bush and crouched and the tank drove right by
This is cheap. Realism... when you look outside a building it’s blinding. No I don’t think actually being able to see the enemy should be switched with realism, it is a game after all.
1. Laying on your back, makes it look not dissimilar to dead, so people ignore. Prone are easier to spot - we’re used to it. 2. Many of us assume others are right, will have cleared an area. 3. Just Sometimes, even when you look - especially dark / cluttered areas - you just can’t easily spot people, looking straight at them. The cammo sometimes works. I kinda don’t mind it. It’s a challenge.
because dead players in this game are moving and those who are alive don't. They should remove dead player animation (waiting for revive) visibility for enemy team. Let the dead be dead ffs.
same really takes it out of the immersion when i kill someone they flop down in a really convincing ragdoll, then start fucking rubberbanding to the that holding hand out prone stage where they wait for medic. so fucking annoying
They removed it didn't they? I haven't seen enemies waving their hand for revives and I know for a fact because I wanted go teabag someone after killing them I was waiting for them to do the animation but it never happened, I've never seen enemies do it so I don't think it's a thing anymore
Well when 90% of the enemy team is lying down when there supposed to be standing or crouching mostly then yeah it’s pretty hard to focus in the ground.
Lol active spotting is for noobs, casuals, and lazy people. USE YOUR EYES. Slow your movement speed! Check your corners and actually look at the environment. Why bring back a system that promotes laziness?
FriedFx lazy? Dude I average like 70+ kills a game and die 1-12 times and every time it’s to someone laying down across the map on a bipod lol, and when they are dark af in corners that your brightness doesn’t even show them, it’s so stupid
I thought I was the only one who couldn't see shit in this game lol. The soldiers uniforms and all of the particles on every map, even on low, makes it so damn hard to see anything unless they're moving.
You should look harder, I'm not exactly the rushing guy and I see every enemy. Rarely do I miss someone. I always see people who rush overpass me quite often.
@@danielantony1882 not like I'm playing this like call of duty. I like to play the objective as apposed to sitting back and camping. I feel that this game rewards people laying down and just staying there.

@@cleverexpert2 Well... i kinda have to agree, i think the best Battlefield would be a mix between 3 and 4. I mean... Like a Battlefield with contents and mechanics like the 4th chapter but with maps and vehicles balancment of the 3rd chapter, and, of course, nowdays graphic. THAT would be my ultimate war videogame.
no, the game is just designed to be like that(or its a massive oversight by dice). im sure many bf players play other fps(r6s, overwatch, csgo, cod) that dont have spotting and that doesnt prevent them from spotting enemy players. this shit is entirely on dice.
Definitely a HUGE problem. With no spotting and camo that is hugely effective the person who is static is almost invisible. I thought it was just me because I am older but it must be a problem for many
@@chesupremeltghost3383 Fun fact: Snipers in real life stay and sit in a position for hours, even days. They don't rush into a building full of enemy's holding a sniper, an assault rifle is better for that.
There is a difference between playing on a top spec pc with 4k graphics, or a regular xbox or ps4. It is NOT the same. The visibility on xbox on some maps is really frustrating. And it has nothing to do with being blind or stupid.
I see it as raising the skill ceiling a bit by rewarding a more cautious survey of your surroundings, as opposed to the run and gun style that the BF franchise has become. It's going to be a matter of adjusting, and I see a few months from now that people will have changed their play style to account for how people can blend into their surroundings. This also allows for something I have felt is missing for a long time in big MP shooters - actual stealth and sneaky sneaky. I hope they don't change this.
If you mean TAA you can disable it manually.3 easy Steps 1.Turn off dx 12 in menu 2.add "WorldRender.LightTileCsPathEnable 0" to user cfg and place user.cfg in bf v folder. 3.Go into game and set motion blur to 1% and it is off.
It's not just the visibility, it's that when you're prone and not moving people just think you're dead body. Several times I think the enemy did see you but thought you were dead.
And on top of that (in the beginning) he was literally just chilling right next to an enemy while inside the enemy camp. The enemy likely simply assumed he was friendly due to the fact that he wasn't shooting anyone.
13:37 I thought he was gonna die on this one but made me laugh when he just stopped and then kept going thinking thought it was someone when it really was someone😂
Next year bro.. can't wait either:) hopefully the developers get more time to Create a well finished modern combat video game. Wouldn't mind seeing near future either. But please no more history lol
The human eye is attracted to movement. Most enemies didn't notice Jack until he moved. DICE could help remedy the visibility problem by adding more idle movement to player models. This wouldn't be visible from the player's viewmodel, but maybe their playermodel could shuffle about while prone or scratch their leg or something. Any kind of idle movement would make a huge difference to visibility.
First off, when running a map with tight streets and war torn debris everywhere, you need to take an area with relativity good cover from the get go, scan the area ahead where you want to advance, then make decisions based on what you see. If there is a firefight taking place then engage from cover alongside your team and when it seems settled don’t just assume it’s clear and sprint across. Check your corners and proceed cautiously. In the situation regarding enemies blending in with there surroundings and remaining motionless. The only way you can protect yourself from this is by actually observing the body and realizing that they are in a stance rather than rag dolled. Wether crouched or lying down, you will notice they are in deed alive. Most of the time they don’t see you either because they are aimed down sight or focused elsewhere leaving you out of their field of view. If you run and gun, there are only 2 ways it can play out. First is luckily running up on them when they weren’t expecting it gunning them downing the process, and 2nd is that if you don’t see them, they will definitely see you running around like a jackass and engage you. Once they have engaged you that is when you will finally see them MAYBE. This will cause you to be a terrible player with a high death rate. While in some situations you must run and gun because you’re at risk of being overcome or cornered, doing this constantly makes you a shit player. If you wanna run and gun all the time rather than proceed in some sort of strategic manner, go ahead and pop COD in and have at it, but as far as BF5 is concerned, you need to actually use your brain and strategize your movements. Fuck.
You know what's sad? I went and played a couple of what used to be run and gun games to me Warface and BlackSquad and people were actually playing more like what you described than in BF5. Folks held angles on corners, advanced with caution, took up strategic positions and you couldn't do anything but say damn I rushed in when one of them caught you. And all of this was on tiny run and gun maps. For some reason BF has been flooded with brain dead kids that don't want to think for shit. They can't sit anywhere for more than a second. Just try to respawn on a squad mate to get back into a fight and you'll find they are in some new random part of the map. They die and spawn in somewhere totally different looking for kills. You can't mount any sort of effort.
storm14k because people enjoy different things. Clearly you like tactical gameplay and so do i. When i want tactical gameplay i play games like squad or more team oriented games. Battlefield has always been a pretty run and gun type game so obviously youre gonna get a lot of people who dont like to play smart and slow. Theres obviously also the console factor. People on console tend to play a lot more casually and less seriously. Some people just wanna get on for a couple minutes and shoot some stuff, which is completely fine on them.
This is an arcade shooter that has never been hardcore or ultra realism. People hide in corners and abuse the invisibility to shoot you in the back and easily wipe squads. What you describe literally no team has or will ever do in battlefield this isn't Squad. I'm lucky to get my own squad to even stay together let alone the entire team lol. Plus you can't just pick and choose tactical realism. If they wanted to be realistic then they shoulda stuck with weaponry and factions that are realistic. How many German soldiers were females running around with Lewis guns? People can't argue "Oh it's realistic get over it." Because the other 99% of the game is unrealistic and arcadey (which is what it's supposed to be) edit: this wasn't the case in BF4 though. That game tactics actually won games where as BFV just hide in a corner and side strafe
@@stillmillionair don't know what BF you've played but the game was never run and gun or arcade like until Hardline. Arguably I'd say people started playing like idiots in BF4 but anyway... Just played BF3 again and there was no run and gun. People we're holding objectives and holding down positions just as they always have. I was drawn to the game in the first place because it WASN'T run and gun. It was a casual and approachable tactical shooter that didn't have the learning curve of something like Squad or ARMA. Hell you just said folks hide in the shadows and then called it abuse. That's because it's always been a tactical game and for some reason some of you want to play run and gun and get mad when someone beats you with tactics. It doesn't make sense. I don't think everybody has to enjoy the same play style at all. So why then are the run and gun folks all over TH-cam screaming the game is broken when it plays just fine for folks that want a remember BF for being a tactical shooter? There are plenty of run and gun games out there to play. Why not go play those and stop ruining the experience of the game for those of us that have waited for BF to get back to it's roots? Stop whinning about the game working the way it's supposed to work.
What i find even more insane is how people just walk by spotting flares or even sit right next to them. They are glowing red! I like how you can hide in this game. Favourite bf game for sure. A shame there are hackers in every single game.

Yeah my friend has the same problem, they're hard to see sometimes! Maybe the visibility is a bit better on pc with a monitor because you can alter the grapics settings, but on ps4 and a tv you can't really do that.
That is sad. I'm really hope that dice will take it seriously and that thing you running to cover...you're behind it and someone kills you because for him you still running.
In BFV I tend to get upset when I'm getting killed by a guy hiding or even camping in a dark corner -- but it's because of me not being observant enough and that's fine. They shouldn't change visibility. For me it's one of the many things you have to adapt to in this game.
I think people just are not looking for the shape of a body on the ground, rather its all about movement to most people. They see a body on the ground an assume that it is dead... until they see movement from it. Its not that you are invisible when you are prone on the ground. Now that I look for this exact thing, it has become much less of an issue for me. Your going to die to that guy you missed camping a corner of a room (a corner you never check to begin with) its just going to happen, if you dont check to begin with. Much like people on the ground prone, if you arn't looking for it you are never going to see it.
At least one time a match there is a person lying prone on the ground in front of me and i dont notice them until they start shooting because they look like a spot on the ground. I rarely ever win the confrontation whenever they get that much of a jump on me.
@@DanUKIPS Yes, I never look for enemy soldiers to shoot. I'm just a conscientious objector, right? Can you imagine, just for a moment, whether i look for them or not, I can't see them smudging up with the ground and thats an issue with the game?

I was prone in the middle and i've got a bazooka, i think the ennemies believed it was a pipe from the decor, and i think i got killed by a grenade....
Well your uniform is supposed to camouflage you and you are in dark areas where that camouflage effect is drastically higher like forest camo in shadows is impossible to see in real life. Also the horizontal fov is clearly shit. We need larger curved high res 4:3 or 5:4 monitors to eliminate the lack of vertical information.
Like Clockwork64 graphics still shit everything is fuzzy and weird looking camouflage just makes you blend in not become invisible to everything the graphics look like a sharpie when you write with it then the ink spreads horrible 2/10 bf4 way better than this pile of steaming dog shot
Working as expected! Most people missed you because they were running or more focused on other targets. Any player that slows down and spot you. I love how camouflage actually works!

I’ve thought this for a long time. Took me quite a while to get used to and stop firing at teammates waiting for revives.
This!
They removed it didn't they? I haven't seen enemies waving their hand for revives and I know for a fact because I wanted go teabag someone after killing them I was waiting for them to do the animation but it never happened, I've never seen enemies do it so I don't think it's a thing anymore
You can shoot the downed players and thier revive meter will go down twice as fast
Well when 90% of the enemy team is lying down when there supposed to be standing or crouching mostly then yeah it’s pretty hard to focus in the ground.

Fuck.
Whoa, bringing real tactics into a game?
HooRah, hell yes you play to win in all the things...
People can't argue "Oh it's realistic get over it." Because the other 99% of the game is unrealistic and arcadey (which is what it's supposed to be)
edit: this wasn't the case in BF4 though.

Most entertaining Battlefield V footage I've seen yet.
