Thank you thank you thank you for showing the trick how to remove the upper flooring that has been snapped to the stairs going into the ground. I had no idea it could be undone, I have had random pieces floating at a few of my camps that I could not remove or just have to spend caps to replace the whole camp. You are a gem, a sparkling lovely gem and thank you again.
I really didn’t like the building in fo4 but I absolutely love it in 76. It’s probably one of my favorite aspects of the game. I really like this roof. I keep seeing videos where the flame trap is being used for half the build but today I learned cool roof tricks without it. Thanks so much
I’m thinking of ending my hiatus from 76. Mainly because building in Fallout 4 is getting a bit boring. This video is so informative and refreshing. Stay safe! 👋😁
The only way to use upper floors is to snap them to a ladder/staircase. They can be tricky to use if you are new to the game, try using the build camera, it's a new feature. It's easier to do if you do it from underneath or a little distance away.
This threw me when I started playing a couple of weeks back, so you're not alone! 😂 like... why do i need to place the stairs BEFORE i can place the upper floor?! Madness. Totally counterintuitive.
Well i would love to know if it is possible to snap a half door to a roof game does not want allow me to do that like i have a flat roof 3 pieces 4th is starcase and than 4 floorrs and around the starcase i want to baricade them with a half walls and roofs so on a flat roif i could put a windmill.
The stairs where a real pia for me... They are the reason i had this weird staircase in my camp. Weirdly i never found the stairs which are on the side only this other weird set where you get that mashed ground and a stair in the middle which wouldn't let me remove it. Even without any other upper floor... Thought the side ones where kind of standard. And well for the workshops as a non Fallout 1 player its simply not worth building there in my opinion. Did it 3 times and every time the server would be shot down an half hour later... So i blueprinted my CRAMP where is all in there and got all i need. I hope i remember the ladder trick in the future.
Your builds are so unique! - But from another video i saw you use the flame trapper to make wooden posts i tried it using a ladder (i don't have the flame-trapper sadly) i think it worked but i'm unsure how to replicate the glitch - i thought i accidently threw a grenade and it made the shed wall disappear to leave the posts still connected to the roof selection - Could try make a video on how to have wooden posts?
I'm not sure what you mean, if you saw me make wooden posts in another video, why do you want me to make a video about it? The only way I know how to do it is by destroying a wall. I've never tried a grenade, it might work, although my grenade throwing is notoriously bad. I'm not sure how you would do it with a ladder.
@@LucyJanePlays It is just you have really good ideas and cause i don't have a flame thrower - i don't understand why Bethesda don't add i wooden post for cottages it makes no sense to me. :D
I tried throwing 8 grenades at a wall and it did no damage. The only other way I know of, if you don't want to do the quest to get the flamer trap is to get into pvp with a friend and get them to attack the wall. If you have a lot of stimpacks, I guess you could stand in front of a wall and encourage an enemy to shoot you lol or if you have a friend who has the flamer they can build one in your camp, if you are on a regular team, and you can store it.

The tips and tricks at the end of the video helps so much!!! Thank you!

I do use the flamer trap for a lot of builds lol but this is for beginners

very good info, am enjoying the ideas. Also, take care of your cat
20 months later he is fine.. He has no teeth and he's retired as the local bully lol
Thank you for this video. I finally have a roof build that looks good. Thanks to this video
Best build video on TH-cam.
i really enjoy building videos. i love the tiny house.
So how do I do it with the standard ladder? It keeps saying upper floors cab be snapped onto stairs but it won't let me

Sorry I'm not clear what you mean but roofs will only snap to walls and other roofs

Well i would have to show it off at the end i did figure something.
It came out quite good and no one will probably notest.

try sticking those floor pieces before putting the stai . u might be able to do what u trying to do at min 3:15
I'll add another ladder and see if I can get the stair frame in with them in place
I tried it and it didn't work, the stair frame would not go in
Does this pillar trick still work ?
You can stack two pillars but you can't free place them
start from scraps indeed ;)
Wish I knew this beforehand

Time stamps in the description would be helpful plzzzz.
I do that now on new videos, I will try and go through the old ones and add it
Good stuff
The building mechanics are so trash
A nice bright day in the commonwealth? Lucy fail 🤣😂😝
I know I was hoping no-one would notice lol I am blonde after all
