    This is by far the simplest way I've seen someone make boba.All the recipes I've seen always had that extra cooking step of using a small amount of liquid and tapioca, before doubling it etc. I love that this one just requires one step of mixing the hot liquid/flavoring with the starch before cooking. Can't wait to try this!

    You are a life saver, in Germany many Bubble Tea shops had to close and now I can not buy any tea anymore Q_____Q
    Thank you so much

    • @muggingthroughlifeasNPC
      @muggingthroughlifeasNPC 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Can I ask why do the bubble tea shops in Germany had to close down?

    • @7bloodyTears
      @7bloodyTears 6 ปีที่แล้ว +28

      @@muggingthroughlifeasNPC Of course, and its a pretty stupid reason. Bubble Tea was a real seller at first, everyone wanted it. But then, one day the researchers from the Rheinisch-Westfälischen Technischen Hochschule claimed to have found toxic pollutants in the tea, which could cause cancer. They went so far to describe it literally as "dirt in the tea". BUT they could not even say what these "toxic" ingredients were and how high the concentration really is. Now after all these years this particular "researcher" admitted two things: the method of their "testing" was just a new gauge which clarity and flawlessness was not proofed at all, AND he could never really deduce the real healthy risks by bubble tea.
      He claims even to be a bit ashamed for this whole thing, but nonetheless they contacted the media without real proof. And there it is were the real drama starts.
      The media was crashing on this story like vultures in the desert over a dying carcass. It was like a media fire and in the end of it, the people believed it and stopped buying the drink. Consequence: the stores had to close, the tea disappeared. Fans who know what Tapioca is and what the tea really contains are very upset and angry. But we are so very few it does not count. The damage is irreversible done :(
      That's why I am so grateful that people share how to make real good Bubble tea.

    • @7bloodyTears
      @7bloodyTears 6 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      @@muggingthroughlifeasNPC PS: the supervisory authority was not even contacted, it went strait to the media. They are wondering to this day what actually happened. Before you are permitted in Germany to give any information about research to the media, not matter what it concerns, it has to be checked first by these authorities. But in this case it went straight to the media, that't why I think it was on purpose to crush the Bubble Tea in Germany.

    Excellent recipe, and so pretty! I can see using these in a white blancmange dessert and ice cream or custard.
    Potato starch has a glycemic index of 90 - super high.
    Tapioca starch has a glycemic index of 75 - very high.
    May I suggest using Konjac flour or pearls as a substitute? Konjac starch has a glycemic index of 0 - very safe.
    When you cook black rice, you get a purple color water. Add this to mashed blueberries and konjac flour to make blue boba which is safe for diabetics. Orange carrot juice, saffron for yellow boba. Avocado + matcha for green boba.
    Monkfruit extract from Costco is a great alternative to sugar - 0 glycemic index. Takes like sugar. Or use Stevia.
    Eat healthy folks, starch, carbs, sugar is deadly for your liver and pancreas, and the cause of metabolic disease.
    Don't eat carbs and sugar and live long and prosper.

    想請問一下,你使用的樹薯粉是在那裡購買的呢?
    因為我買了幾個不同品牌的樹薯粉,粉的味道都很奇怪,做起來的粉圓也都有一種味道,或是感覺有加修飾澱粉
    但上網看樹薯粉似乎是沒有味道的
    感謝你

      攪拌成濃稠的糊狀再加入餘下的木薯粉
