Everything You Need to Know About Horseshoe Bay Beach, Bermuda - One of the World's Top #10 Beaches!

- Widely considered one of the best beaches on planet Earth, and runner-up by USA Today for Best Caribbean Beach - even though Bermuda isn't in the Caribbean. Horseshoe Bay Beach has everything you could ask for. Located in Southhampton Parish, one of the nine parishes in Bermuda, this beach is renowned for its white and pink sand. Horseshoe Bay has the most beautiful cyan, turquoise, and aqua colored water. Moreover, this seaside getaway is clean, safe, spacious, picturesque, the water is clear, it has conveniently located bathrooms/changing rooms, a bar, food, and trails for hiking/exercising. Also, you can rent accommodations at Horseshoe Bay such as beach chairs, umbrellas, and other equipment. Known for its convenience and ease of access, there are multiple modes of transportation that you can use to get to this beach including: taxi, carpool, bus, motorbike, electric car (Twizy), electric scooter, and more. There are several animal species that you might see here including: parrot fish, long tails, red land crabs, Portuguese man of war (they're poisonous), and even on rare occasion migrating humpback whales during whale season. There is a place for children if you have any. Baby beach is conveniently located off to the right as you walk onto the beach. Its water is very calm, much like Horseshoe Bay's, and provides a good opportunity for your little one to enjoy the ocean, but in a more controlled environment. Feel free to lounge at your own leisure, go for a run early in the morning, kite surf, surf in general, snorkel, or play a game of beach volleyball. The possibilities feel almost endless and I guess that is why this place is viewed by so make beach lovers and experts as one of the best beaches in the world.

I just happened to stumble upon your channel as I was searching for Bermuda beach videos. We are avid travelers but this is our first visit to Bermuda. Last beach I went to was in LA and man what a different experience this would be haha. Love how much care is put into maintaining this beach. Some of those shots looked like an entire town was there! This place looks like a dream.

Thank you for a wonderful video on Horseshoe Bay, which is one of the places we plan to visit while in Bermuda in two weeks.
You will absolutely love it! My only advise is set aside a little transportation budget so you don’t have to wait for the bus. Build a good relationship with your taxi driver and they’ll take care of you! It’s the quickest and easiest way to get around the island and not burn too much time waiting around. If you’re coming in on the cruise ship they’ll most likely provide transportation accommodation options! 😁👍🏾

Lovely and informative video indeed. I had a quick question though. I am taking the cruise soon with my family. Wondering if they allow you to fly drone without any permits. I have a DJI mini pro 4 which is below 250g and not commercial. Thanks!
Yeah you will have no issues flying your drone around the island as a nonprofessional. You can find out more info online or at this link… also there are maps online that show you places you can and can’t fly your drone.

I’d recommend Horseshoe Bay and Tobacco Bay. But please note they aren’t close to each other. They are quite a distance apart 👍🏾👍🏾

We really enjoyed this. Thank you. We are cruising in June 2024 and want to visit Horseshoe Bay. Is there any assistance at the beach for people with mobility difficulties getting from the transportation to the actual beach? Than you again
There are grounds personal that are located around the bar/entrance area. A shuttle should be able to get you or a loved one down the hill and then if you ask the grounds personal for help from there I’m certain they’d be more than happy to assist.
Very brief shot of the Portuguese Man o War jellyfish at the beginning. They have warning signs on the beach but it's not like they're all over the place. The water is so clear I saw one in the three days I was there.
Thanks for the comment! Yes you are correct. You can swim comfortably at Horseshoe Bay without having to constantly check for the Man of War. They are on the beach on occasion, but for the most part, the most important thing I recommend is to be educated about them, so new comers to the island will know to avoid them and can educate their children / families as a precaution. what' is the distance between 2 drop off /pick up locations of public bus vs mini shuttle bus/van? I heard that the bus stop is farther and requires a walk down/ up the stairs, and the drop off/pick up location of the mini bus is closer. Is that correct ? How far ?
That is correct! The bus stop at the top of the hill is about a 5 minute walk down the stairs to the actual beach. The mini bus drop off stops right in front of the beach at the bottom of the stairs. 30 seconds walk to the beach
