So excited you're reading Dracula! It's my favourite book ever and this is the perfect time to read it as a big chunk of the story happens in September-November. Dracul is also really good, if you like Dracula you'll enjoy that too. Interview with the Vampire is great too. I've only read the first two books in that series but I loved them both and am planning to read the next one soon. The most recent tv show adaptation is also great if you're looking for something to watch over the spooky season (though definitely check content warnings, it's a lot)
Yesss! 🤍 The Picture of Dorian Gray is literally the gothic genre summed up; Perfect contrast of gloomy, creepy moments with romantic and beautiful scenes.
I recommend The Lie Tree. It takes place in a victorian setting. It is about a girl trying to prove to others (and herself)that she is smart even if she is a woman. It is a ya Novel.
hii!! Nice video! I am already wanting to snuggle up into autumn (too bad it’s still hot 😢) I have two questions! Where did you get your fitted sheet under your comforter or blanket! I’ve been trying to find floral fitted sheets + pillow cases for awhile and can’t find any 😅 also my next question is if you can make a downtown girl outfit idea video!! (I saw you made one a couple months back (your most popular short) but I would really wanna have the links to some of those cute things plus I need inspo and your like the queen of making coquette/dark coquette/downtown girl outfits! 😅) I understand if you can’t reply to any of my questions but it would be great if you can! Have a great day and wonderful autumn!!❤🥳
my book recs are: The Lighthouse Witches by CJ Cooke, St. Ambrose School For Girls by Jessica Ward, Sleepy Hollow by Washington Irving, Pet Sematary by Stephen King, and The Boyfriend by R.L. Stine!! :) also, I have four novels by Jane Austen that I've never read, and was wondering if u know which seasons would be best for each novel? pride and prejudice, sense and sensibility, Emma, and Northanger Abby
i read those !! emma i think is the best for the spring time, sence and sensibility for autumn and p&p u can read in autumn or spring (i read it last fall) not sure about na tho, i think spring time??
Thank you so much for the recommendations! I’ve read most of my Jane Austen books in the spring but for fall I guess I would say sense and sensibility since a lot of it takes place in a cozy cottage! 🤎
I'm currently reading The Secret History (finally, it's been on my shelf for MONTHS). My favorite book of all time is The Hollow by Jessica Verday. It takes place in Sleepy Hollow and follows a lot of themes from that. Also takes place in Autumn and Winter.
Romney I feel like you’d really love Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers! It’s Christian Fiction book sorta based on the book of Hosea in the Bible, but it’s not super religious, it’s about this girl who goes by the name of Angel and she was sold into sex slavery as a child and now she’s grown up and living in a Brothel, and this guy Michael Hosea who is a farmer sees her and knows she’s the woman he’s supposed to marry. It takes place in the 1850s, and throughout the book there’s just so much passion, romance and desire. It’s extremely well written and I really think you’d enjoy it!
Hello romney!❤️ i very much recommend you the Red/Blue/Green trilogy by Kerstin Gier and The mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley. Lovely books for girls
I would recommend Carmilla for vampire themed books, really good classic❤(also predating Dracula)
