They may have left their heart in Tennessee, but my heart took me to Tennessee. If it weren’t for my father here in Chattanooga, I would’ve been raised a beach bum in Myrtle Beach, probably not knowing my right hand from my left. I’m so happy I was raised here.
I named my daughter Daylee. Day, thankful for every day we get. Lee is a family name. And together, Daylee, after this spiritual band and this amazing song. She was born in Tennessee. She is a blessing, as much as this song is for me and so many others. #blessed
Red barn roof peekin over a field full of yellow. Smell the sweet honey suckle in the air hear a milk cow bellow. Tennessee walker running by Man He Sure is pretty. I feel sorry for those poor folks Stuck a liven in the city. I thank God I’m a native son but I love this place much as anyone. My soul going to heaven when they burry me .... But I’ll leave my heart in Tennessee. Shail Stone shinin like diamonds on the hills and pastures. Things round here move slow but there gonna get faster. Bull Dozen farms and fences in the name of progress. Dang those developers their cold and heartless. Cause when the train starts a rollin on down that track. Once it’s gone it ain’t a commin back. This land and life will be a memory And all the things I love about Tennessee. It’s in my marrow It’s in my life It’s who I am... It’ what I love... I’d stay right here every day I could. My Tennessee life’s sure been good.. I love the green green grass of Home And the white church steeple. The rivers and the creeks and the colorful people. Nothing like a sunset Layin low In the pink sky. Singing How great thou art with a tear in my eye. I thank God I’m a native son but I love this place much as anyone. My soul going to heaven when they burry me .... But I’ll leave my heart in Tennessee. It’s in my marrow It’s in my blood It’s who I am.. It’s what I love I’d stay right here Every day I could This Tennessee life’s sure been good.. Yeah My soul going to heaven For eternity .... But I’ll leave my heart in Tennessee. Oh, I’ll leave my heart in Tennessee.

Love this group, but I want to hear a bigger instrumentation and stronger back up singers. Horns would really pick up shallow country music, and this could stand being reinforced.

Thanks for update on lyrics….
Vincent sings high in key of “C”.
I transposed it down to key of “G”.
To Steve B:
Spotted a guitar player using capo 5 and playing in “G”.

Jamie, I love to hear you sing this song😢
Can't believe someone would give this a thumbs down.
Reminds me of my family in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. This area was mostly a farming community. No longer.
That's what Pigeon Forge was once like. So quiet and peaceful. Not anymore.
My 2 favorite

Wish I knew what kind of rings they have on I like them
They're "Dailey & Vincent" rings that they designed. They now wear their "Grand Ole Opry" rings that they designed after being inducted.
That might be there Grand Ole Opry rings but I'm not sure though

This is bluegrass music, not meant to be.
Not as good as Rocky Top...
I love this song
