    What I love about Captain Dubois from Madagascar 3 is the fact that she's such a simple villain with no sad backstory, just wanted a Lion for her collection and yet the filmmakers made her into some sort of Terminator killing machine in hunting the animals which makes her such a badass, scary and entertaining villain in DreamWorks history. Hans Zimmer's amazing music for her really helps a lot too and you can just tell Frances McDormand had a lot of fun voicing her

    • @dakotahrednour5245
      @dakotahrednour5245 ปีที่แล้ว

      It turns out she is more than just an animal controlling officer, she’s a poacher. doesn't care about her job as animal control officer! All she does is poach animals just for the sport of it! DuBois had no intention of bringing the animals back to the New York City Zoo in the first place. (the crowd gasps) She was secretly planning on killing the animals just so she could skin them and mount their heads on the walls as trophies in her home! She's more than just an animal control officer, she's a poacher! A deranged lunatic that hunts and kills animals for her own twisted amusement! She even kills endangered animals!

    Lord Shen is my favourite animated villain out of all animation, he is so villainous and manipulative, he is is his intelligence to get what he wants and the best part about what he does is that he does it for pretty much no reason, which is what makes a true villain to me. Also him being voiced by Gary Oldman and being a rare white peacock is Fricken awsome

    Lord Shen from KFP 2 is undoubtedly the best villain in the Dreamworks films in my opinion! The fact that he committed genocide against the Panda’s was absolutely cruel. The way he carries himself, being high, mighty, and menacing only fuels the cool factor of his character, including how he and Po are connected in their stories. • @yugiohgames104
      @yugiohgames104 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@ErasureeraserWell, you don't need a strong villain to be great. You need a villain that is actually smart, cunning and actually threatening and intimidating. The villain's name was Grimmel btw. I like how Grimmel raises actual stakes every time he appears on screen or when he actually talks too. From his first appearance, to Hiccup's house, to him knowing that Hiccup will be heading north, all of it. I also like how he is a parallel to Hiccup. It's like if Hiccup killed the Night Fury that day but Hiccup didn't because he actually cared and Grimmel just almost wiped out the entire species. F. Murray did a fantastic job with his voice. And I think he is the only villain that actually wins even at his death.

      @@yugiohgames104 I think all not villains need to be strong or either smart depends how you look the characterization on them but I wanted to see how Grimmel can wiped all the night furies by himself but sadly the movie doesn't even trying to show how great he is instead he only catch Toothless with a single luck that's why people said he's the weakest villain even he had the same feats like Hiccup does, because night furies are super intelligent dragon species they able to flight longer and can stand in the cold same with other dragons as shown in the shows even in Berk have winter season too, personally Drago is way worse than Grimmel as a villain himself

    Out of all the HTTYD villains listed on this list they should’ve also included Dagur & Johann
    Dagur started off as a crazed warlord who’s unpredictability & determination can bring fear & intimidation towards his foes. Plus throughout the rest of the series he’s slowly became more of an antihero as we learn more about his background & the growth he developed in learning about his father & bonded with his sister Heather.
    Then there’s Johann, he was an antagonist that NO ONE saw coming!😱
    Like Viggo & Grimmel, Johann is extremely cunning & calculative. However unlike those two, Johann knew how to play the long game in getting what he wants. He spent his years masquerading as a timid & annoying seafaring man traveling port to port to trade goods & being a loyal ally & friend to Hiccup & his loved ones, but in reality he’s a thief whom steals & murders other sailors & perceived their adventure stories as his own to cover his tracks while also abusing the Hooligan tribes trust to get what he desired the most, the king of dragons. His use of emotional manipulation managed to threw off Hiccup & his father & nearly succeeded in obtaining his life’s goal.

    Personally my favorite dreamworks villain is flushed aways the toad. Ian mckellens voice performance was stellar and he brought so much personality and arrogance to the character. He has such a tragic backstory too. Being a beloved pet before a rat came in and stole his spot, resulting in his hatred in the rodents. Not the most deep backstory but still sad. He had such a good life
