Hi Wolf. I just came across your channel yesterday. You've got some great tips and I look forward to watching the rest of the videos. I'm retired now as well and am currently setting up a shop in my garage (eventually I'll have to insulate it and heat it better). Your grandson is a great cameraman and producer! Wishing you all the best. - John Guderian
Hello You have a very nice shop. You are a very educated and abled man . I see you have a student as well. a very good looking young man , you must be so proud ! thank you for the video ! regards Skip
Hello Wolf. That is a great workshop. It will be interesting to watch you creating things with those machines. I also like your new looking shop-coat, very professional.
Hello from Manchester England I enjoyed the tour of your new workshop and thought it was good to hear the prices of things you have bought it's good to have an idea of costs involved I am in the process of setting up my own workshop at the moment so will look forward to the advice you can offer in future videos , my first tool I have bought is a lathe very similar to yours so with a bit of luck I might have done something right keep up the good work
Thanks for the intro , I think you covered a lot of ground for those of us that have a home metal shop , I also in joyed the fact that you added the costs , great camera work there youn man . All the best Dwayne New Zealand.
Hello from Ontario. Great to see another Canadian Hobbyist. I'm getting my tools soon, one of them should be a CX701, and a CX601, so seems we have the same "taste" for machine tools.
Wolf, nice shop and great first video from you and your grandson. I also have a home hobby shop and am retired. I’m looking to add a milling machine, and will be interested to hear your comments on the stability and ease of use of the CX601 you have. Looking forward to learning a lot from you.
Good video! Does your band saw have variable speeds? I converted an old wood cutting band saw to cut metal by adding a pully to slow down to speed. My focus is on Internal Combution models, and some steam.
You noticed the DDR plate! I was born there but our father moved us further west in 1944 to get away from the Russian bear. Thankfully the state is no longer!
@@wolfsworkshop9958 well, that answers my question. I was born in west germany in 1949. Adopted in 49 and basically spent my whole life in the states and internationally. Glad you made it out. My boss at my work long ago was a border guard who was able to escape. The stories !
@@wolfsworkshop9958 I too wondered about the DDR plate, but I know you well enough to know that you're the farthest thing from a "Commie" that there could ever be! :)

It always worries me when I see a sterile shop. Safety, get rid of the long sleeves. DDR plate ? Otherwise I hope to see god stuff here.
