We made a miniature cannon using a piece of drill steel back in the '80s. It had a 2-in inside diameter and we could literally fire a piece of 2x4 into a solid rock face out in the desert in New Mexico. Couldn't do that crap today. It was great working as a steel fitter and having access to make stuff like that.

This is the kind of thing that you might not spend on yourself, but for a good friend / family member, especially if they're a Pirates fan... Really cool. I like the whole "functional art" theme. The more expensive one is definitely a beautiful showpiece.

you can get a chinese one for 1/5 the price. they may not be scaled down versions of real cannons, but they work just as well if not better (since they’re pre designed for metal bbs)

This would be great to use for stop motion movies with 1/6 scale figures. Make forts and firing some rounds. Maybe light and wave some sparklers at night and fire some cannon rounds then. These look like they would be so much fun!

@@0PalmTree0 I have received my first order on 1/20/22. Alex replied to my email on 1/20. So I ordered my second order on 1/21. Have not received any confirmation on the order. Also Alex have not replied to my follow up emails. Let’s wait for a little while more and hope they‘re ok.
