Wow! Even in 2021/2022 MILAGE! MILAGE! BAS MILAGE! In 2017 my uncle had an accident in Swift Dezire at 60 kmph. He was saved but was hospitalized for months and still cannot walk. Never a Maruti until they start prioritizing build quality.

In extra 50k u will get best most safest car, Premium rugged look than this frog 🐸like look, rear parking cameras, better interior, climate control, better ground clearance, better space in rear row with adjustable head support, etc. & many more.

personally i like the previous generation celerio look. this looks like Alto only. The previous generation was stylish and elegant looking. all that was really lacking was a good suspension.

Good coverage of the New Celerio, Rachit ! However, I have two corrections... The Old Celerio did have factory fitted fog lamps, alloy wheels and steering mounted audio and bluetooth controls in the ZXi (O) MT variant. The alloy wheels, fog lamps, driver seat height adjust and two more small features were removed to partially compensate for the cost of the AMT in the ZXi (O) AMT. That's MUL's feature to price consideration logic. The oval shaped headlamp reflectors are a cause of worry and do not have good beam patterns, whereas the older Celerio had much larger and rectangular shaped reflectors. Safety wise, nothing is left to speculation... It's a Maruti hatch after all ! The power window buttons on the central dash look horrendous as does the cheap plastic box used to house the touch screen unit. Moreover, the interior of the car is dark even in broad daylight with the black finish, the older Celerio had a pleasing black / beige / Silver combination. The AUX port, lone USB and 12V point exist in the older Celerio, no changes there. No parcel tray even in the top version is a cause for worry, extreme cost cutting, I would say, the older one had it. I'm sure there is no engine guard below and the road is visible from the engine bay. To add insult to injury is the poor fit of the request sensor... Even Karol Bagh guys do better fitting these days !! Upgrade to 15 inch alloys raises the style quotient (same design as Maruti alloys available as accessories) but raises tyre replacement costs as well. But... it's a Maruti and people will still go ahead and buy it .. 26 KPL is enough motivation.
I have 2017 Celerio ZXI AMT(O) and yes everything you said is true.
And I have 2021 model celerio zxi and it's amazing in driving and also in looking wise.....
Old celerio and new celerio driving difference is there . Old celerio clutch and break hard . New celerio engine refinement is good i saw clutch and break smoothness is there. 3 medium weight people can sit easily in back side . Peppy design is Good. Apart from nothing good regarding safety

In metro cities like mine, in Delhi, the avg speed on roads is between 40 to 60 km/hour (if there is no traffic). Milage is always a priority in such conditions and this car is tailor made for such conditions

200-400 wala helmet is not safe. You have to buy from brands(steelbird, vega etc.) for your safety. And only low IQ amateurs who dont wear helmets. There are many states like where you have to wear helmet mandatory.

Just to compete with two not-so-good built but feature-rich brands of the era-Honda and Hyundai-they simply shifted their focus from build quality toward mileage and improved performance, as a result of the demand at that time! Maruti has now declared a resounding triumph in terms of fuel economy, and the vehicles themselves are feature-rich, well-performing and efficient.
Now the people are demanding solid build quality back by mocking Maruti Suzuki! That's shameful people! Anyways, Maruti Suzuki is once more emphasising on the build quality of their cars, keeping in mind the user expectations.
Guys, no other brand will ever be able to match with Maruti Suzuki's affordability, respectability, and reliability.
Please realise that you don't buy a car expecting to get into an accident. If you fear an accident, please just don't buy or sit in any car! Consider disciplined driving. You will be OK as long as you drive safely. Otherwise, even a real tank you buy will eventually fail someplace!
