i'd recommend 2 Alios as group memebers if you want group members for your Rex cause they can both run tyrant's roar, which is 10% attack buff i think, and you can use deep rumble plus they can out run anything other than a struthie while u just casually walk towards them which is pressure in of itself.
Srsly your vids are why I play rex. When I started a month ago everyone said it was bad now, but had been good. But then I saw your Rex PvP videos and figure it out it was mostly a skill issue. You baiting the alli between the wall at the end was masterfully done.

Very true 👍 But if you are fighting another apex, Rex, eo, bars, spino, then if you bone break you go on cooldown but if you stomp while they are just spamming you with regular attacks, you will take more damage because the stomp on an apex is not a ton of damage and they will out damage you while you are on cooldown from the bone break and in an animation from the stomp. But you are right about the stomp while on cooldown dose help with damage as long as the opponent is smaller and has less combat weight than your rex

Great vid but as a rex player on official I can tell you I've seen many rexes play this build and lose easily, not saying skill differences don't count but if you're a good enough player you'll realise how much of an advantage face tank gives u
Face tank only works if that's where the hits actually land. Take eo for example, the usually are inside your body when they are striking so it's registering on your body, not your head, so facetank does nothing.

I land alot of clutch bone breaks on small stuff and rumble is enough to me to put rex over the other apex in the game. No build is wrong though, was just pointing out incase you didn't know.
There is no doubt that face tank is a great advantage in an apex fight as long as the opponent is willing to stay in and fight, but my build is made to try and hunt effectively and also hold it's own against other apexs! That's why I run bone break coz it can actually kill confirm

What do u think about the speed hide. I havent tried that but in official disc someone was saying like the turn speed reduction doesnt really effect when ur not running but idk if i believe it lol. I feel like a lot of rexes might run it tho because i keep having rexes gain on me when i have a big head start.
No the other 2 hides are much better why are you running away as a rex anyway you wont get far better to fight then turn tail and run letting them bite your tail
I'm not a fan of speed hide myself. I don't like to run from fights and as far as catching prey the Rex more or less has to try and ambush it's prey to be successful, not many dinos that you can rundown and catch or run away from. There is also an Technique you can use on Rex to improve your speed without hitting full run, you just hit your sprint on and off very quickly and it will do kinda a quick step without running or making too much sound

Nice Rex gameplay, I'm not sure what changes will be implement post nesting/new update but current PTB for Path has shown the complete removal of speed hides (Light Weight Scales/Feathers) and turn based abilities (Traction, Balanced Tail, Etc.) which will impact the game and future dino builds. What is in the PTB isn't concrete so take this info with a grain of salt.

You still need some sort of skills to play it. Indo is a good rex that's why he did that video. You, on the other hand, would suck on rex with either your hands or feet if you don't know what to do.

The bone break dmg means it does 10% more bone break I’m quite sure well it does for mods on commuinty servers like pt Rex
I don't think it makes the bone break last longer, but I'll have to check to make sure

After bone breaking my bite is put on cooldown. The stomp gives me an attack inbetween cooldowns. I have used that tactic with great success.
