@@solacee4327Whether before or after the scandal, she always treats her staff well, just only one she doing wrong (scandal). And judging the whole person by one incident is not advisable. But anyway, that's your feeling, so I respect your opinions.
@@halonhienday_2707 I just think placing idols on pedestals is a bad idea. She treated at least 2 staff members poorly and has treated others well, I don't think I made any more assumptions based on one incident than saying a broad statement like "She is so caring, even to the staff too"
Again, I like Red Velvet, but it almost feels like misinformation to include that line for a new fan to see. Everyone should have their own conclusion based on what happened.
Personally I think she can look down on staff she doesn't see as people (many bosses do), but still be a sweetheart to those around her that she sees often, those who support her, and those on even footing with her. They aren't mutually exclusive. Perhaps it was just two people she looked down on (and no other incidents) because of stress or something, but either way that would make the initial comment partially misinformation
@@solacee4327 on what basis are you judging irene? we know nothing of her side--which is ironic since everyone is so ok with innocent until proven guilty yet dont abide by it at all with kpop. everyone loves drama it seems, regardless. not to mention, people like you who bring up the situation from years ago make me laugh. just say you dislike irene and go. it's fine to dislike irene if u want, just dont hide behind any excuses and not expect no one to bring fire.

And "innocent until proven guilty" doesn't apply here, what happened wasn't illegal, nor was it detrimental to her career. And either way, it 100% happened, it's not debatable whether it happened, just how you feel about it. Irene straight up made a public apology acknowledging she treated the staff poorly

I'm mainly an Once but Red Velvet is THE group to listen their entire discography, I agree that its the best discography in kpop. And it's also refreshing to enjoy Wendy without the heavyness of all the controversies, she's very tallented and funny, she deserves de recognition. Seulgi is one of my confort idols, she's so good and cute and humble, I love her. And don't take too long to check the Irene&Seulgi sub-unit, it's FIRE, can't wait to see them working together again. I LOVE how Yeri is savage and I miss her BFF moments with Nayeon, they're really funny together LOL They missed the moment they were in NORTH KOREA for a concert, it was iconic as well. I'm glad you got to meet Red Velvet better, they really deserves the recognition world wide. Thanks for the video!

funfact, wendy was last to join in redvelvet when they were about to debut as 4. and seulgi was gonna be the main vocalist before wendy got in.
lmao no one said seulgi is gonna be the main vocal 😭 at first of seul's training she is trained to be a main vocal but along the way idk what year in she damaged her voice (temporarily/not the same as it used to) she even cried afraid she's not gonna sing the same anymore so she practiced dancing so hard and luckily her voice comes back but i guess SM needs a main vocal which seul is not anymore and there they found wendy and debut them with her only less than a year of trainee

I dont know if anyone mentioned it but the scream that you hear in RBB is Irene. She hit a D7 note and that one of the highest note ever hit in à kpop song. Btw RBB is so iconic that no one dared do a cover of it

They are multitalented. RV members are all good at acting I think. Seulgi was also involved in the drama operation team with moonbyul somi yooa etc. And even though Wendy is not a drama actor. She became someone who always helped Joy practice acting while at the dorm. Wendy was also recruited to be cast on SNL Korea, she acted really well there. Even though her image is the best main vocal of her generation she is a comedian she was really funny 😂😂😂
Wendy is also a voice actor, she is the voice actor for the korean version of the cartoon trolls.
Wendy is also a radio announcer(dj) and she has been awarded as best dj and best program consecutively since she started her career as an announcer. There are also many foreign artists who choose their radio as a place for radio promos, such as New Hope Club, Peder Elias, Conan Gray. They are cool. 😭😭😭😭😭
in the "Stick With U" cover, Seulgi does the low register
and in 58:16 they were singing acappella bcuz the people wanted them to sing more but they hadn't prepared any other background music other than what they had initially prepared. this was sort of an encore performance of the top requested songs from the audience. if i recall, they sang Bad Boy and Peek-a-boo in acappella that day
Just a little information, Joy’s solo album is a cover album, all songs were originally released between 90s~2000s, so it got a bit of nostalgic vibe.
They are very cool in my opinion because each member is also actively pursuing a career personally, such as actor, hosting/mc/dj, model, etc.
Seulgi has a talkshow "seulgi zip". Joy has a reality show "animal farm". Wendy has a radio program "Wendy's Youngstreet". Yeri has a variety show "Yeri han bang". Irene has a reality show "Work and holiday". And there are still many activities from other projects. That's why they sometimes have a difficult schedule as a group because each member is very busy. But they said they were happy when they comeback because they could meet. There was also a time when they got overseas schedules but one of them couldn't go because of shooting a drama. I think their abilities are really cool.

One way I'd describe this song? K-Pop got married to 90s R&B slow jam. And it is topped up with ridiculous vocal runs from the girls👌To think that they did THIS just months after debuting, still blows my mind.
Fun fact: Wendy sang a solo version of this song for her bday, the video is available on their official channel. Proceed with caution though, your fangirl heart may not be able to handle her awesomeness (and how she changed the song a lil bit and made it super special 😉)

As soon as the beat comes in, it is SO SMOOTH, you'll get this uncontrollable urge to roll your body 😆😆 The bridge, the adlibs towards the end, will make you feel as if you're ascending towards Red Velvet's R&B heaven.

Ask any 10 Reveluvs, probably 8 of them will name this song as Red Velvet's BEST b-side of all time. The ol skool r&b feel to it, the lyrics, the girls' incredible vocals, all in one song. I've nothing else to say, its a cult classic.

For us older blokes, the Red Velvet lady's are everything. Insanely talented with their vocals, without the diva complex that is so prevalent with western idols. Have genuine musical ability rather than relying on a 'flesh fest' with overly sexualised MV's etc, to make up for lack of talent. Vivacious and funny, the list goes on.
Yeri released a self-composed song for her birthday, titled "Dear Diary".

PS, Joy was awesome in the Netflix K drama, Once Upon a Small Town. She plays a (shocker, HOTTTTT) policewoman who gets mixed up (more ways than one) with a big city veterinarian (who's filling in for the podunk town's local vet, his grandpa). It's shorter than most dramas and def. worth a watch.~

Also I hope you can listen to more of their b-sides, the videos showed some but i dont think it does justices to their amazing discography: I would reccomend to anyone to listen to Kingdom Come, I Just, Pushin n Pullin, Time Slips, In & Out and Sunny Side Up!, i love a lot of their b-sides but i think those show their range with quality
