Brodie sure is a weird way to say, is not effected by pummel or cnc.

@yoh_shii Referring to two instances of play during the event. Brodie did not discard to Pummel after being hit at one point, and did not bin his arsenal after being hit by CnC in another instance.
I am not claiming that he did that on purpose. Everyone can blank and make stupid mistakes in a long tournament like this, but there is no denying that it may have influenced his games.

@@Dzikjj Unfortunately, it wasn't on Stream, that was a mistake on my part, sorry about that. I only heard it through the internet grapevine from people who were at the event and watched the match live. I assumed it was on Stream from that.
But the error was confirmed by multiple players who were at the event, so it did occur.
That’s on him if it happened sure but honestly way more on an opponent. If you’re playing those cards announce and be sure you get your on hits.
Pretty sure CNC Pummel was better . Also this is like 1 tournament before the ninja doomcasting starts.

Cindra is shut down by Nuu speacialty used in response to Cindra ability banish 2 cards and Cindras daggers are gone. Someone at my local shop did this.
Holy sh I never thought of this. So I can use my transcend card that let's me banish from their graveyard and banish both their daggers. OMG

This is pretty much how I ran Fai for a while. Kodachi + Kodachi + strong card was a great combo just due to Mask. It didn't get triggered often because people would block it, but that's kinda the point. The 3rd card strips a card from your opponent's hand, or you just get another card. Either way, it's a positive effect for you. A typical hand would give me 5-6 attacks every turn, which was great at keeping the pressure up and keeping tempo.
Cindra seems like she uses the same basic concept, but is way more consistent with it. I am going to run her this way and she should do quite well!
Also, you can Flight Path after drawing off MoM, and you can't Snap at that point
I’m trying a cindra build with just a bit more blues and having some success. Art of the dragon Scale solo’d a game vs a Kano for me which was hilarious.
my build has a little more blues, and isn’t full redline, but has similar ideas. threaten the mask triggers, but then threaten more on hits
Very tempting to build this hero.
Cindra had a lot going for her. A new hero whose strategies weren't fully known yet. While she'll still be good, I think as people get used to seeing her in matches, her power will slowly drop. Or... she's just zen 2.0.

Fun weekend. Memphis local. Played the main event Friday with Aurora.
Saturday played Cindra commoner and Sunday Aurora commoner.
I like to see all this new heroes being tested and played now because it makes ma man Riptide better than before! haha. Cindra is very very strong, but I think that she has a couple of problems to be solved still. The Hunter is just 1 week old, all the new heroes need some time to get their final form, but they are from the day one NOT BAD!

Two of the three heroes (three of four if you count Slippy Arakni) want Flick Knives, a legendary printed two years ago with no reprint, so it shot from $15 to $115. Then GEM packs being so under-allocated that stores are choosing to award them to winning players, which is the problem I thought they were supposed to combat, and then the CnC "reprint" being upshifted to Legendary, kinda sours me on just having gotten into this game shortly after the release of Rosetta :/
The game is great! The game economy "needs work"

Good video. It does a good job of showcasing what makes Cindra strong,
but I do not see this particular deck list holding up. I have tested Red Line Cindra extensively, and it usually gets fed upon by Assassins and value decks like Ira.
How Brodie was able to win the event with this list is beyond me. The only two logical explanations I could come up with are:
- Brodie is a damn good player
- No-fun-Aggro decks win week 1
But, in my opinion, this deck will not hold the momentum. It will fall off once the format settles.

@@joshuahburkhart9733 he did well overall! If Cindra turns out to be top tier, I think there's certainly a shot for Kano to be a player!
I don’t think people prepped for Kano this weekend. I believe they went all in on expecting “go wide” aggro strats.

Makes no intuitive sense to me how flicking the dagger during reactions still keeps the streak going
It would be nice to have a set where ninja wasn’t ‘S tier’ right out the gate…
The aggro playstyle will always be the best out the gate. Also, if they make a ninja that is weaker than the others then it sees 0 play competitively
Shes better Fai and has two sets of Draconic ninja sets to build with. Unlike some heroes that come out new get one. That said. Fai is pretty good right now too. But I'm just wondering when we get a set that doesn't push ninja.

@@EliCrusher Game changing against prism. Roiling Fissure is 3 years too late, it should have been released with Everfest. Against Enigma it's just a more reliable way to get rid of Miragai, which alone doesn't meaningfully change the matchup. Guardian STILL needs a card with "damage cannot be prevented" text on it. (I think it's coming later this year)
