Selena, your'e such a cutie.(sorry Jason). I have the exact same AE's installed on my car. IJDMtoy. the first set lasted about 2 years before little parts of the eyes started to burn out. I just bought a whole new set and spliced the new eyes into the existing wiring! worked great and they aren't expensive.
I have this kit but with rgb color changing with remote control kit has only red and black wire but no white wire i think its because it comes with a remote control to be able to turn them on and off

Great DIY Selena. I have my led ae for 5 years now(other brand), on the e36 vert. Unfortunately 2 led have gone bad sinds this year. But while driving them on at day time also, that's not bad at all, I think. Keep up doing the good DIY's!!
Wouldn't you want to run a fuse tap off the fuse box instead of having the power line feed straight from the fusebox? I'm assuming that without a fuse in place it'll just keep pushing power through. I can understand the signal wire to be t-tapped to footwell light, but not so much cramming a wire into the hot side of a fuse terminal
That's just a signal line I don't think it has to be fused much like a subwoofer remote wire. The fused line goes strait to the battery terminal the remote wire allows the current thru to power the leds

The wiring is definitely not working. I'm getting constant power to them no matter what "switched" source I go to. That ground location also doesmt work. Yet they turn on when I go to battery ground. No idea why they're doing this
I bought these same ones for my 2001 325xi and the angel eye for the high beam fit just right but the one on the low beam didn’t fit right and left a gap in between. Why would this be?
the best angel eyes install vid ever! i am so encouraged that i think i can install in about 30-40 minutes. I do not know which version of angel eye kit i need from the two you have offered. How can i tell which i need? i think i have projectors but other than that i do not know what is HID or whatever.....
Been there done that. Unless you want blinking halos every time you use 1 of your turn signals, I wouldn't recommend that. Def would get you into issues with law enforcement lol
"inexpensive" doesn't mean they're the "best". If you want the BEST angel eyes for the E46, go with Umnitza Orion V4s. They are absolutely the brightest and longest-lasting.

So I bought some angel eyes but I didn’t get the ones from the video they are from Ijdmtoys but it only has a black and red wire I’m not sure where they I’m really confused because I can’t find anything on the internet to see how to install them?..?
Route it to the one wire in your DME with the white stripe and yellow dots, if I remember correctly the wire is brown (something of this combo.. sorry it's been a while). Forgot the name of the wire but that's how I did mine and it's been working great for a year now

I have a 2001 330ci vert and this exact kit. Have had them on for close to a year. They are off by a LIL bit but still look nice. One side actually fell off so I'm working on clipping it back onto my light now lol

I installed these on my 2001 330i and didnt really fit the best most likely because I chose the wrong size option and dont want to make the same mistake on my 2002 M3 convertible. How do I know if the car has OEM HID headlights or standard halogen headlights?
Depo lights are way better and look way cleaner. Just swap out the entire headlight unit and they come with dope led corner lights as well. But the price is a lil lil different lol

I was scratching my head for a second about seeing two whites??? Had to listen and look at that splice you did red to white.

There is a fuse inline on the harness so you wouldn't exactly need to do that, but yes it would be a good idea to use a fuse tap for extra safety.

the difference is in the size of the ring, to match the reflector in the headlight unit

Usually the projectors don’t turn on instantly there’s a little pause and they get brighter and they have a blueish tint to them

its literally the same exact thing. the only difference is the corner lights have a phillip head screw holding the clip.

I used to have Depo too on pre facelift convertible modified M package and they looked agressive but clean. Nothing too much but with style haha

The same but you cant tell that much on the hi beam
Does the inner bulbs (drl) still operate because that is my only worry that the angel eye and the halogen drl will run.
