Very impressive build Tyler ! So much meticulous attention to detail. I appreciate how you trying to retain everything to factory OEM. It’s a light weight oem modded e46 . Looks very fast and probably handles even better . 👏
Just got a 2002 330i for $850 the other day. Crank/No start issue, but very clean inside and out. High mileage @ 244k. Swapped in a DME with an EWS delete, it started right up. Before I even got it off the trailer.
Colour matching all the exterior trim cosmetics looks great but i personally love the black highlights eg. Door handles & pre facelift etc.. but the bonnet change with the larger kidney grills is genius. Gorgeous car and all that time & sacrifice you've poured into this is inspiring! Thankyou from Sth Australia 👍
Great stuff... Very nice build.. I am interested in oil separation solution.. very nice and clean solution, can this be used safe on m54 engine and his notorious oil rings...
very nicely put together! I'll be looking for the ms43 swap for my wagon. I wanted to do a turbo build eventually, but this car looked pretty quick. Any idea on HP and 0-60?
Where did you find that power steering cooler? I tried finding it online but no luck. I recently converted my ps to electric with a Volvo pump on my 46 and I’m looking for a bigger cooler but I want to maintain the oem quick disconnects!!
@bullionstacking I've tried to locate another one myself, no luck. Even when searching with the part number, it brings up a newer style cooler. This style must've been used for a short period then discontinued. I removed it from a parts car. E83 X3, M54 6 speed manual.
Excellent attention to detail. I’m curious if the 250’s detents ever give you any issues. Mines always been tough to get in reverse and 5th when it’s not at operating temp.
Mine accidentally goes to 5th when I throw it at 3rd. And getting reverse in is always a center console smash. Not sure which box it is, but it's stock on a -01 330i 5-speed.
@random_cube5440 This particular cooler is a very limited release. When I search the part number stamped on it, only the updated ones are shown. I have yet to see another one anywhere. It came from an M54 E83, 6 speed manual. I've had others search for it as well to no avail.
@E46Carter Nah, don't underestimate yourself man. It's not overly difficult, and as far as tuning goes I did not make all the adjustments within DME myself. Besides, the overall performance gain of that throttle body may not be worth it, was an experimental setup. If you watched the end, the car did get down pretty good for what it was. This engine has since been removed.
@ ah what did you end up swapping it with? I have a 325 I’m looking at the basic na build headers m50intake ect or a cx racing turbo kit witha m54b30 swap
@rgcarlson8658 Dusan Strutworks - Strut Bar Works. He has multiple options depending if you have fold down seats, etc. Same company who makes the trunk and strut brace I'm running.
@rgcarlson8658 Kept original front muffler, deleted second resonator and rear muffler. Used a muffler in place of second resonator. Straight pipe after that.
How I wish I could just remove airbags from our project e46. But no, factory safety equipment is mandatory for road cars in my country. Stuck with grandpa seats that weigh a ton, while going for weight reduction. Meanwhile a regular 80's car can drive on the road without airbags, and with any kind of racing seat and steering wheel. Because it didn't have the bags in the first place. I feel so safe thanks to these laws.
Long time e46 owner. Just found this channel and I love it

What is EWS delete

Very cool, Tyler!😎 Thanks for sharing all the details of your e46 buid.👏🙌 Truly a labour of love!💪
So much thought, care, and precision, really inspiring work here
It's so clean. Great work
Well thought out mods, probably gonna give you a solid experience while racing
What a clean and detailed build, well done sir
Very cool build Tyler!
Every detail is thought through, very interesting.
Also the engine mods/setup is also very cool!
Great build! Been following it for a while. Cool to see everything in one video
amazing how you figured to use parts from M56, X3, N62 super interesting
Great stuff... Very nice build.. I am interested in oil separation solution.. very nice and clean solution, can this be used safe on m54 engine and his notorious oil rings...
Well done. Courius why the m56 intake manifold? Being a sulv I would think that intake manifold is more restrictive.
a clean and respectable build. Most of these yt videos are noobs putting honda civic type mods on
Ahem tenza Motorsport 😂😂
This is amazing you’ve done amazing hard work on it I know this things your baby just like mine to me ahah
Brilliant build !
Time well spent!
Hey mate it's Jason king, Tryna do the ms43 swap do you have a running tune and what fuel rating.
Great video. I plan on building a m52tub28 and swapping it into my 323 but gotta reinforce the chassis first lmao
That thing is fast!

I'm not sure of current power or times, just a car I have fun in. Lol

Looking JACKED .. ALL HAIL THE GUN SHOW
Thanks, man! I actually haven't weight trained in a few weeks now due to sprained wrist. So I've lost some mass for the time being.

5th gives me issue when cold. Once warm it springs back on it's own.
Mine accidentally goes to 5th when I throw it at 3rd. And getting reverse in is always a center console smash. Not sure which box it is, but it's stock on a -01 330i 5-speed.
@@wtfronsson you probably have the zf but mine also takes a center console smash for reverse. My passengers look at me funny
randomly got to this video. Im impressed. The engine is brutal. I love these frankenstein bmw engine mix builds :D Do you know the power output ?
I actually am not sure!
Hey, can you give me number part of steering oil cooler? I can't find it in Poland so I think it can be in E83 only for US.
And greetings from Poland!

@@OLearysBMW thx for trying at least, I will use E90 3.0d cooler since is biggest I can find to use in M54
How did you go about swapping the throttle body?
@E46Carter Made adapter, port matched the adapter/intake manifold, plugged it in, scaled DME.
@ Definitely out of my skill set 🤣
@E46Carter Nah, don't underestimate yourself man. It's not overly difficult, and as far as tuning goes I did not make all the adjustments within DME myself. @@E46Carter You can see details of my drivetrain choice within the current video series. The video titles and thumbnails clearly show it.
Where did you find those reinforcement plates under the rear seat you riveted and epoxied??
And do you have any mufflers on your exhaust?? That thing sounds tit.
@rgcarlson8658 Dusan Strutworks - Strut Bar Works. He has multiple options depending if you have fold down seats, etc. Same company who makes the trunk and strut brace I'm running.
@OLearysBMW what about your exhaust setup other than, I know catless headers.
@rgcarlson8658 Kept original front muffler, deleted second resonator and rear muffler. Used a muffler in place of second resonator. Straight pipe after that.
how much hp do you think its have now with all the upgrades? i have the same engine
If you've watched closer towards the end with the car in action, compare that to yours. I have no idea on current HP.
250+ to the wheels imo
