    So Robert Zemeckis prefers it when people are invested in the story more than the special effects. Did he achieve that reaction with Welcome To Marwen?

    I wonder if anybody watched this and thought, "That sounds absurd! Betty Boop shows up as a waitress in a nightclub?"

      I don't believe so. I thought Betty had a good cameo and she gave us an idea what cartoons were like during the 1940s. But she still got it.
