Its not misleading at all. To be so gunho not even a few weeks prior to have Steffy sign the same papers...to only tear them up didn't mean anything except Liam didn't want an annulment. I disagree with you on that Ridge "never liked Hope". Ridge was always very much protective of Hope because of how she was conceived and brought into the world. She held a special place in his heart because IMO of the fact that he wasn't born from Eric but Eric raised him as his own. Ridge never wanted Hope to be hurt by Deacon and that why he agreed with Brooke and keeping him away from Hope when she was growing up. And because of this he allowed himself to be stretched between different families. Ridge has always had a better commitment to Brooke's kids than to Brooke herself.
