I started a trailer rental business here in western Ohio after watching some of your videos (subscriber since 2020). Started off with a 6x12 utility trailer. Have been pushing it harder the last 6 weeks or so and have had 4 rentals so far.
I do 2:1 ratio of used motor oil and diesel fuel. Put it in a pump up sprayer and spray it all over the deck. I do it 1x a year but could probably do it less often. My trailer is 5 years old and the wood looks brand new.
I know that by the time this video airs, you have probably already purchased a winch, but if not, I would highly recommend the badlands winch from Harbor freight with the Poly rope, they are actually really high quality.
it's an old trick to sealing wood whether it's fence slats or traier deckin you just need to put a lil diesel fuel in the oil you use and mux it up well im the 4th generation keeping the family tradition of using it and we've never have any issues.. Jasco also makes a good sealer that gives you about the same color so in a pinch u can touch up or use Jasco's product
Mount a receiver hitch to that plate so you can remove the winch if they dont want to pay for it. Use an sb connector for the battery connection. Easy peasy
Hey man i’m starting up my first business with claw machines, but I would love to get this business started. I’m not sure if you have an LLC, Insurance, exc. I would like more in depth information in the logistics area. Thanks man great video and keep inspiring others.
mount a recive hitch on front of trailer.... mount a winch on a hitch plate ... makes it removable by one pin and a plug ..... have my trailer done like that hit me up if you want to see it
Not sure if your views are down but I noticed that I had this new video in my recommended list. Come to find out I wasn't subscribed to your channel anymore. I have like 5 videos of yours that i've missed.
U can use a winch without the remote lmao so whoever said charge more for a winch is a idiot and wanna just rip ppl off and if u ask how can u use it without a remote u shouldnt be in any kinda business
dont charge $30 for a winch rental.. if anything jack up the rental price like $5 whether they use the winch or not, i dont think no one will notice the $5 markup on trailer rental
2 parts used oil 1 part diesel and there are no down sides as long as you can let it set in the sun a few days to soak in and dry prior to use
Beat me to it! I'll take a pic of my boards with it looks great

They used to soak phone poles in creosote and still do on rail road ties, and those are buried in dirt. Soaking them in oil should add some life.

We need more red shirts on the site. I have a couple, but there's several there I wish had a red variant, namely some of the trump ones

The winch seems like more interest and MORE liability.
