I was lucky enough to play about a year's worth of shows with my friend, Jack Triebold. Now, I was never really into Brad, but Brad is Jack's hero. After watching this video, I feel as though I've shared the stage with Brad himself. Jack is that phenomenal. Check him out yall!
There's a lick he does in Make A Mistake With Me during the crescendo that is absolutely something I can not figure out to save my life. It literally doesn't even sound human possible to my ears. Anybody else know the lick I'm talking about?
@@thezakkuhnshow Oh man I'm a HUGE fan of his. There is also a CRAZY lick on "The World" at the end where he does this slow crawl on the low E string and leads into a blistering run during the outro of that song.
I like how Brad just kept playing when the little interviewer guy tried interrupting him a couple times. Never interrupt a man while he’s playing guitar.

Probably a reference to Buck Owens' band who were called the Buckaroos. They also had a country instrumental in the 60s called "Buckaroo" which was the first country instrumental to be number one on the charts.
Great content but let the guy answer the question that he’s trying too before cutting him off with another question. Polish up on that and let your guest do most of the talking…..helps you and the viewers get the info we want to hear and allows the guests to have time to share interesting stories that these musicians have about certain things they have experience through the years.
I love paisley! But it did crack me up how un articulate he was about what each lick was from a harmonic standpoint. Like contrasting that with Mayer for instance who knows exactly what part of scale and what intervals he’s playing, it’s kinda entertaining. And does go to show many of the greats know very little theory. It’s musicians who write music not theoreticians. Man can the guy play!
Idk I’ve seen Mayer interviews where he’s struggling to understand the pentatonic box. Not knocking him though. Sometimes these things are easy to play and hard to articulate
Hey Brad. You want to make a difference for guitar beginners, Its not so much hanging out with these guys and be more natural, down to earth guitar playing. The lingo is not just Nashvile.

Not as impressive as I thought, very good at starting a lick, but always screw up before the end of the lick, sorry but I heard no music at all here...
@@JP-qg7bu 1. it was very short (maybe 45 minutes at most). In comparison we had went to see McCartney around that time as well and he put on a 3 hour show 2. The opening acts played far longer than he did. 3. He played well but the show was low energy I was extremely disappointed. I really enjoy his music and as a fellow Telecaster player I really enjoy listening to his skills.

But I actually believe internet comments are becoming a big problem in society, referring mostly to what I read on instagram. Brad just looks washed out and drowned of enthusiasm nowadays, like theres no life behind anything hes saying or any authentic friendliness. Hopefully hes good. But seems just like an annoyed guy going through the motions on autopilot in a sense. I havent followed him for super long or extensively I will say, but was just able to see him live a couple months ago. And maybe the decline in sharp defining appearance is just natural aging too which happens obviously.
