This worked for me! I had a ring from a laundry detergent cup sitting by my sink overnight. My granite is a very light creamy beige. The only reason I can see this ring now is because I knew where it was. No one else will ever know. Thank you so much for the tip. I thought I had ruined the whole slab.
Before I found this video I used baking soda on a fresh stain and it got it up nicely! Let it set for 5 mins and then scrubbed with brush and it came up. Now I will go ahead and get the sealer because I know my granite was not sealed by the builder on a new home I purchased a 6 weeks ago!
Great suggestions, thanks! Did you end up making the video on how to remove rusty stains from countertops? I left a wet Iron skillet overnight on my white ish countertop and need help!
Thanks for sharing about stain problem of marble, i have some concern about to remove the stain of marble, im using baking soda but the stain was still there, i used portable grinder to scrub it and using grit 50 to removed that yellowish stain but sad to say the stain was still there, can you give some ideas what im going to do to removed that thing. Thanks
💌 I am going to give the DIY solution a try. My counter isn't marble or stone but the stain wouldn't remove with Cleaning Vinegar and you can't even see it but it's some kind of a grainy stain, you can feel it but you can't see it. Any other tips,? Thanks.
So my cleaning lady used a window cleaner on my cultured stone countertop and now is I see spots all over the top like it is wet, yet it really is dry. Apparently something in the cleaner leeched it’s way into the top surface. Do you think I should try baking soda on the surface to see if it will pull up whatever soaked into that top?
I need help! We have a quartzite counter top that is NOT polished. It's the natural matte finish. For the first time I sealed it with 511 impregnator and everything went fine except there are a few spots now that are grey in appearance and noticeable. It's almost as if the sealer soaked too far into the stone in just those spots. I have no idea how to remove these discolorations. Does anyone have any advice??
I have a strain from bar keepers friend on my bathroom black granite countertop. I am concerned about putting any other type of bleaching solvents - any help would be appreciated.
Hi there! I noticed a faint yellow stain on my mom's wall (painted with a semi gloss light mint colored paint) next to where she had a high intensity lamp. Not using that light anymore. Any hope of getting rid of this stain? Not even sure it was the lamp.
In reading the comments, my question is should the hydrogen peroxide be of a certain strength? Another question is I have seen instructions where you cover the poultice with wrap and tape it down. Why don’t you do that? Thanks.
Great question! You can mix one part baking soda with one part water, until it forms a paste. Apply it to the affected area and let sit for 10-15 minutes. After the time has passed, you can use a microfiber cloth to wipe away the paste. If the stain hasn't come out, try again but let it sit overnight before wiping away. As always, be sure to test in an inconspicuous spot first!
We have dull spots and I’ve been scrubbing for days. I couldn’t find any videos for dull spots. They look gone when I’m scrubbing, but after air drying, they come back like trick birthday candles.
Why do my clothes come out of the dryer with oil-like stains. My tops are mainly 100% polyester. They have spots on them that look like oil and the spots were not there prior to cleaning. I must be doing something wrong. Have you heard of this before?
I badly need help, pls I cleaned the faucet in the bathroom, i used a talc Remover and left it ther for 5 minutes. Unfortunately its too late when i realized that the chemical will go down yo the wall, its a natural stone.. So now it jas white stains from the chemical.... What should i do to remove it? Can it be removed or that is just like totally damage? Pls. Pls. Help😭 or i might lose my job😭
It did not work for me Later Edit: it actually works... but after I did your steps, I also had to cover it with a soft paper tissue and a plastic wrap and keep it for ~24h , so that the baking soda doesn't solidify. It was much more effective. :) thanks
So I ruined my natural stone windowsills with waterstains but also with cleaning products that worked themselves in the stone and leave a couple of ugly big visible stains. I tried everything to get rid of them, none of them worked. Now I bought some kind kind of natural stone remover powder from Ali express but would like to try this baking soda method as well. I hope it works!
thanks for the video but I tried this, it didn’t work I saw that hydroxy peroxide needs to be stronger like what hair salons use. I will try it and keep u posted.

any reason you can't just use water to remove the baking powder after its done? would that re-set the stain? Seems a lot easier than scraping it off.
You changed your hair!! ☺️ Sorry not stained related at all. 😆 Thanks for this trick!!❤️👏🏻

may I ask what persentage of hydropgen peroxide should be using?
im guessing 3% to be safe
What percent h202 should be used?
Does this work for hard water stains? They look "white"?
Won't peroxide erode your counter, while baking soda will remove the protective coating, exposing the counter to more staining?

How to remove toothpaste stain from Carreras marble?
None of that worked for me, I end up using 5000 wet sand paper then 4000 then high speed buffer using insta cut # 1, my marble looks better than new.
It would come off with vanish soap as well, if anyone happens to have it at home for laundry stains.
What about rust spots? Will this work?
Will this work for franks red hot sauce?

I saw on another video that mineral oil mixed with baking powder should work for oil stains.
You stain is still there. I can see it.
Bleach is hating!
Left awful etch marks, made the problem 100 times worse
Yes, Diaz, I agree! I'm now left with a larger etched circle!!! Does anyone have any tips for fixing this? Thanks.
On your test spot? Hopefully you did it in a small and inconspicuous spot.
Thumbs down because it seems she doesn’t answer questions people asked her
