RELIC Hunting Roadsides & Ruins

- I went metal detecting along the roadsides on old country dirt roads, looking for history and unearthing items that have been lost by travellers. Then onto an old Cottage filled with history. This video is a compilation of the day out detecting for items. I unearth bullet remnants, coins, clock remnants, door knobs, cupboard lock, dog tags and odd bits of farm machinery and rusty items, and some modern day coins and loads of rubbish was taken away from the ground. A bit of an enviromental clean up along roadsides is always a good thing. These things are all items used by people living daily lives in the past.

Awesome day, great dog tags and AMAZING to find 5 of them. Good stuff 👍
@@JustJay-kl8pr it’s always awesome to find history and some coins to spend😀
BRUN 🤗
Safety is definitely first. Jay and Brun, you're the best.❤ I wrote a story while I was watching you. A man smoking a pipe in his rocking chair. His dogs were very dear to him. And I think he had a hole in his pocket. 😀
@@SRLGemstone ❤️perfect story, it’s exactly what I imagined😀🙏

Brun, I love your excitement when you find a target, whatever that target may be! The old roo penny and the 5 dog tags are awesome!❤
@@cynthiaswearingen1037 thank you ❤️I just love the history in my hand with what ever rusty bit it may be. I like finding coins and objects that were once sitting proudly on a mantle or a door handle that once opened a door to a home. I imagine life as people once lived and I research items after the hunt. I give things back to land owners and talk to them about their family history or the history of the property. I try to bring the motto “Rust Never Sleeps” back into life, by digging it out and holding it in my hand and cleaning it for the owners and general community and individuals to see and touch. It’s great having collections of things, but so much more when it’s shared and loved again. 😀I’m an excitable type of gal. I love life❤️Brun

Hi Brun, those snake guards are cool never seen anything like that before. Interesting finds at first I thought the dog tags where coins.. Hey anytime you can get out and detect is a good day. Thank you for sharing your hunt all the best cheers from Canada. 🍁🍁
Hi, saw a big brown snake and always wear the guards in warm weather and tall grass😀the dog tags were cool. I thought they were all coins when I first saw them in the dirt & I was so excited then realised it was tags, but still exciting to get so many in one spot. I love coins mostly.😀have a good week. 🇦🇺
Hi Brun! That was an excellent video. It was so nicely done and you found a lot of great stuff. I love the old relics but finding coins is always great too. You guys found so much nice stuff and I love those roo pennies 👍
