It is not recommended actually. You can grow in the orchid pots if you want to, but you have to water more often than normal pots because Anthuriums prefer more moisture than orchids. 🌷🌷🌱
I just use refined/pre-washed cocopeat. I do not use Calmag to buffer cocopeat. But add a good amount of vermicompost/compost. And so far, I have not found any calcium or magnesium deficiency in plants. 🌱🌱🌷🌷

Very informative. Thanks for the video!
Good appropriate soil mix👍
Great video ❤
There’s a difference between soil an dirt. Dirt is what animals pee on. Soil is what you put your plants in. 💚
I noticed you have used pots similar to growing orchids in,is this recommended for anthriaum plants too?
It is not recommended actually. You can grow in the orchid pots if you want to, but you have to water more often than normal pots because Anthuriums prefer more moisture than orchids. 🌷🌷🌱
Are tiles or stones not required to block the holes at the bottom.of the pot
What do you think about adding perlite and pumice to this mix?
Yes, you can use it. Both improve drainage. However, extremely well-draining soil media can dry out very quickly. 🌷🌷
Do you prepare the coco coir? Doesn’t it need to be soaked in Calmag mix since coir will take it from plants?
I just use refined/pre-washed cocopeat. I do not use Calmag to buffer cocopeat. But add a good amount of vermicompost/compost. And so far, I have not found any calcium or magnesium deficiency in plants. 🌱🌱🌷🌷
