    I really appreciate these videos as it's very difficult almost impossible to find ney tutorials in English. Your videos fill this void and allow English speakers to play the ney. Thank you very much for that. I would like to kindly request that you do more maqam videos just like this one. For example it would be great if you made videos for maqam sigah, ajam, etc.

    I understand and appreciate that this videos are a general introduction to the univers of Maqam
    Each Maqam has a family of Maqams, each one with its own variations

    Hi Niri. The half hole you use is for Turkish ney? I tried to play on Arabic nay and I didn't need to cover half a hole.
