    A couple years ago your video on Luminar 4 helped me jump start the initial learning curve. I helped me get started and move into the advanced user category. I'm really grateful that you did one on ON1 Photo RAW 2022. This video saved me countless hours of trial and error. Thanks a lot!

    I have never used On1 and am considering adding it to my photo editing (currently I use Photoshop Elements 2019) This was easy to understand and I really appreciate seeing you walk through editing a photo.

    Super helpful video. Just on day 2 of my 14 day trial. Luminar 4 has been my editor for a few years now, but doesn't do a good job at noise reduction, so I decided to check out On 1 Photo RAW. The video was a great way to kick off my learning. Looks like it has just what I need.

    Great job on this video! I am currently 'test driving' ON1 Raw 2022.5. Thinking of transitioning from Lightroom Classic. Your video is very helpful. Thank You!

    Thank you, Anthony. I have been struggling to get this to work, especially in the Develop Process. I was unaware of using the J Key + for whites and blacks to make sure I wasn't clipping. Will watch this again when I am able to take better notes, watch on my iPad, following along on my Mac. The straightening and correcting for those leaning buildings will come in handy as well. Thanks again.

    Fantastic video! This is better than what on1 has as their basic video! Thank you so much and keep it up! I can't wait to try the next one!

    Well explained but when i try to use noise AI in photo raw 2022 it appears no noise AI 2020 or 2017 why?

    Thanks for this, I'm just trying out the 14 day free trial, so trying to get to terms with it quickly. I'm presently using Luminar 4 & Affinity photo, I like what I've seen so far with raw development with On1, but need to have a play around to see if it offers anything that I don't have already.

    Hi Anthony. Love your instructional videos and have learnt a lot in Lightroom and Photoshop using your tutorials. Looking at ON1 Photo Raw, a lot of tools are found in Lightroom, Photoshop and I use Topaz De Noise and Sharpen. I may try the 14 day trial. What are the real advantages of using ON1 Raw against the other software mentioned? Thanks bud, Nick

      I agree with Rene, ON1 is a combiantion of LR and PS combinded. I will caution that if you do a lot of layer based work in PS then ON1 will not match up. An alternative that I use is Affinity photo. As another word of caution, there is a subscription modle to ON1, but you also have the ability to purchase the program outright. There are some benfits to having the subscription, but that really only depends what you need for your editing. With ON1 2022 you can use your plugins as well so that is a plus.

    Thank you. I've been using ON1 and you've pointed out some things that makes it easier for me. As an aside, what's the black spot upper center of image?

    Hi Anthony I use LR a lot but also use Topaz plugins. What’s your view of workflow and functionality of using On1 as a do everything package on its own? Also does it do panorama merging? The transform doesn’t seem to have an auto like LR which I use a fair bit?

    • @FreeWillPhotos
      @FreeWillPhotos 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Paul I used LR for 8 years and found that ON1 meets almost all of my needs to edit photos. With the 2022 version of ON1 you will be able to use your Topaz plugins internally and yes there is a panorama merge along with HDR and Focus stacking in ON1. It is hard to say that it is an all in one package, but I think you will be able to complete 90-95% of all your photo editing in ON1. I also use Affinity photo when I need to do some serious layer work. I hope this helps.

    Hey thanks for this info. Lightroom user making fresh start with jumbled collection of 60000 pix on a qnap drive. Think I’m switching to ON1. Can I manipulate the jumble on the drive through ON1 browse? My plan is to clean up on the drive thru browse and then build catalogs from the new structure… unless there’s a better way?

    have you done the vedio for the on1 export system ? you mentioned here. i have to fiddle around every time i need to import from C drive "baby shoot" on ( laptop ) to ON1 , Still not shure if i need to be creating another folder with same name in ON1 system before editing. MY BIGGEST need is to ..AFTER editing, i need to keep original camera raw files in C drive folder (which at this point i think stay there) but KEEP the , edited photos in same size/format in a subfolder and make smaller JPG size avl for email, Face book, ect. So #1 a subfolder for non resized EDITED raw files, ( so i dont have to go back and re-edit original camera file, if ever needed, AND to retouch as i learn the ON1 better), 2 ..a subfolder for smaller edited jpeg files (for sharing ) . What i can understand is the custom plus numbering example..sub folder a Baby shoot #### to Milas baby -0001 , the rest is chinese still !!!

    I've been using On1 Photo Raw 2022 a while and just love it. Thus I was surprised by your recommendation to ALWAYS use NoNoise AI (even on low ISO images). Can you further explain why? Thanks
