As a kid, back in the 40's, our farming neighbour had all his wheat knocked flat. Luckily there was a good answer in a machine that would pick it up. It did, and saved his crop.
Best of luck with your harvest, you deserve to have a good one because you have done so much prepping of your machines all the best from Scotland machinedm
We had trouble with a tractor starving for fuel, one of those hard to diagnose situations. It turned out to be a well preserved spider in the tank getting stuck over the outlet now and again. It was an Inter AW7D, not a mountain of power but it needed full fuel flow.
Matt, underneath the yellow insulation to the wire there is a bolt running around as if it was't tightened. I am not diesel mechanic, but it does't look right.
Hope it all goes well for you guys, you certainly deserve it . Always great to see the old workhorses like the Chamberlain Acco and Commer coming out of retirement . We don't need anymore of the Instagram farmers ❤😊
That's a good point but going straight to the filter is where to start, I've had a collapsed intake filter and line on a boat and that was a little distressing until we found a solution.
Hoping for a prosperous and safe harvest for all of you! Really appreciate you sharing your farming operation with us. Thank you. I used to get really excited when my wheat or soybeans were ready to cut. I had a great deal riding on those crops. I started running a combine pretty young in the early eighties. Started out on my own in 1983 at 14 years of age.
Good to see the Harvest started , Great drone footage too. I've been watching Laura Farms harvesting Corn now you guys onto the Wheat, Great stuff, I should probably go and do some work as well
Harvest comes round again, great drone shots Matt. 👍I’ve done a bit of chaser bin driving in my day and it’s nerve wracking work, you don’t want to spill any , you don’t want to hit the header . Not easy
Fuel pick up in the acco tank may have a bit of blockage or sucking bit air something worth a look if all else fails our new holland had a plastic pick up it the tank it had a split in it
I had a fuel docket that had been left in the tank , they screwed the cap down on the docket 🤔, had me stumped for a few days , hard to believe that a bit of paper would stop the power but it was like I lost 40 HP . Did you grow any Duram wheat this year ?
I would also look at fuel pump, tank filter, constricted fuel pipe. It happen to us 30 years ago on our tractor. Dirty fuel blocking the tank own filter (not just fuel filter) and also kink on the fuel line wearing out the pump over time.
@@thejacksonbrothers Couple things together. Yes the screen at the bottom of the diesel tank. We had to wash it out, full of crap buildup. Badly filtered Cheap fuel over decades before was clogging up at the bottom of the tank, used to kill the high rev power. While decades of dirty fuel build up was the original cause, we replaced the fuel line (partically kinked from full engine rebuild years before) and the fuel pump (ok at normal to medium revs, upper revs was chocking the power). We already had the normal fuel filter replaced from our own service (father not a fan of servicing). We were lucky he greased anything one a year, but got older did the maintenance and servicing ourselves. After all that our power problems never returned. We had looked at air problems first, but father shocked us with that filter replaced (due to air filter cheap sale) and embarrassment at the tractor power been limited well below normal while taking the milk to the creamery going up a hill. Same tractor for hay and silage contracting work.

I like your logic Matt. I don't know why the trucks broken, we haven't touched it.
Haha when you say it like that😂
😃
I see Phil going round checking his combine, just like a fighter pilot does to his fighter jet before a mission.
Classic Phil😂
Pulling the pins and kicking the tyres.
Pre flight ✈️
Go Phil.
Matt I thought you would have used a piece of plexiglass or plastic from an old tote to replace the broken door window on the chamberlain. 👍🏴
Great job driving the chaser bin and tractor Matt
Great video Matt Brad Phil and JD

Great job driving the combines Phil and Brad
Hey Matt a soft start sounds like an electrician talking all the best for harvest

Fuel problem check the fuel tank breather is clear can create a vacuum in the tank and stop the engine fuel supply 🦘
Check your lift pump as the diaphram may be cracked.
Congratulations to you guys for harvest start hope all your hard work pays of keep safe God Bless!!😊
Good luck with the harvest guys and thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks 👍
Let’s hope weather stays kind to all farmers and you get harvest home safe and sound
Greetings from Montana USA I enjoy your real life farm videos. Also a farmer
Good luck with harvest be safe 👍🇦🇺
wishing ye a good harvest from ire
Maybe tank vent issue, obstruction or flexible line collapsing.

Matt, I should have mentioned at the 18.03 mark.
Good luck
Be safe
Hopefully you have a well deserved bumper harvest!

Hey Matt U have a lose bolt on the air gover valve on the acco
Wishing you a bountiful harvest, minimal breakdowns and favourable weather!
Great start Jackson Bothers, good to see the whole team involved, may it be a plentiful harvest. Drone shots were superb Matt.
I just realized I wrote Bothers not Brothers, maybe that can be an inside joke for the family, happy harvest.

Good morning from Texas, hope your harvest is bountiful
Good morning! And thanks👍

Another awesome video guys. From kiwi land.

Exciting!
Have a good safe harvest.
Good job guys
G day matt does your steiger have a pto because if so you should have it on the coolomon chaser bin
Loved it
Time to "CRACK ON" ;-) 😁
Happy harvest team
Hi Matt. Just wondering if it could possibly be a vent issue on the fuel tank causing fuel starvation when the trucks underload? Cheers
Uppa lads👍
Very good Video 👍 👍
What sort of yields are you getting Matt with the wheat looks hot and dusty in Aussie
Wheat was going about 4t/ha so super thankful considering the year😁
Nearly 60 bushels per acre for the converted value.
I had a fuel docket that had been left in the tank , they screwed the cap down on the docket 🤔, had me stumped for a few days , hard to believe that a bit of paper would stop the power but it was like I lost 40 HP . Did you grow any Duram wheat this year ?
Haha, no Duram this year👍😁
There was a bolt less a nut in the last couple of minutes of your video. Visible as you were manipulating the throttle!
Any chance of you sending us a little sunshine to Scotland we’ve had 3days of torrential rain and high winds and it’s becoming a bore 😅👍🏻🏴
Winter in the Northern Hemisphere is why we moved to Australia, you can change climates without a passport.
What’s the chance of getting one of your caps to the UK in the future ,tried on your website not UK.
I’m still in the process of working out international shipping, hopefully soon but the uk seems like a more difficult one with VAT🤔
Hey Matt check for a rag in fuel tank ??? station life, station life just saying.
lift pump filter

I think it ended up being the screen going into the fuel pump which is what you are talking about I believe👍😁

@@thejacksonbrothersThat one can be a trap, the last little strainer.
Hi,
Have you got any of your caps still?
There is about 7 medium profile green ones left, sold out of high profile👍 new stock should be 4-6weeks away
@@thejacksonbrothers I will need one that fits a big head 😂
I will wait for the new stock to come in.
Thank you ☺️
The drone shot of the combine with the music overlay was beautifully done! th-cam.com/video/shtvGJqslt4/w-d-xo.html
Thankyou😁
Looks dry the way the grain is flowing into the box
She’s dry!
