    When Athene is quoting a "Rate Of Return of 10%, 11% or 12%, isn't that a "RETURN OF BOTH BOTH INVESTED PRINCIPAL AMOUNT PLUS GROWTH, CORRECT? It is not the actual percentage growth of the Principal amount. Correct?" What is it that grows 10%-12%? Is it the Principle invested? or the Monopoly Money value factor on which income payments are based once payout is triggered? Also if client selects this Athene Annuity with the S&P option; is this tracking the performance of the entire/all the S&P? Or just a Cherry Picked SUB-Index populated with stocks that can be added or withdrawn to by Athene to manipulate to outcome? Thank you for clarification.

    How can you go back 30 years if the company was founded 14 years ago?

      It's a hypothetical back test. Thanks for your question.

    Excellent video Jeremiah.
    Regarding the Athene Performance Elite 7, the "Product Guide" says the following in the Premium Bonus Vesting Percentage Schedule:
    For “Most States” for example:
    Contract Yr 1, Vesting % = 0%
    Contract Yr 7, Vesting % = 80%
    Can you please explain to me what this is about?

    • @AnnuityAssociation
      @AnnuityAssociation  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The vesting schedule regarding the bonus is referring to how much of the bonus is available overtime as a withdrawal of you were to take one. The bonus goes to work for you day one and can earn interest immediately but if you were to withdraw or fully surrender the policy, the vesting schedule would determine how much of the actual bonus you'd be eligible to receive. After you fulfil the the full surrender term the bonus is 100% available.
      Hope this helps!
      Thanks for watching!

    How long does it typically take for a contract to be approved from the transfer of funds to being able to register and actually see your funds on their MyAthene account page?

    • @AnnuityAssociation
      @AnnuityAssociation  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Typically policies are issued within 24-48 hours of funds received and application in good order. The My Athene account page should be available to register upon policy issue.

    Should I worry about counter-party risk with Athene.

    • @AnnuityAssociation

      Athene currently holds an "A" Rating when it comes to financial stability according to A.M. Best, an independent insurance rating agency. In addition, fixed index annuities are covered by your state insurance guaranty association in the rare case of a default. This coverage ranges anywhere from $250,000 to as high as $500,000 depending on the state. Hope this info helps.

    Please explain the rider charge of .95 which i think is a lot...I just reviewed my client's statement and man i tell you that .95 is hefty. So, what if the index return is 0%? Will the liquidity rider charge still applied? What exactly that rider is for anyway?

    • @AnnuityAssociation
      @AnnuityAssociation  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, the rider charge would still be incurred even if the index return was 0%. The enhanced liquidity rider is offered on the Performance Elite Plus and provides additional liquidity benefits not offered in the standard version of the Performance Elite. For example, up to 20% in free withdrawal is available as long as prior year withdrawals have not been taken. The Plus version also offers Return of Premium after the 4th contract year so if client wants to just get their money back, they can do that with no surrender penalties or other charges. In regards to the rider charge itself, if the client saw value in the added perks the rider provided, then it makes sense to pay for it. The rider also includes a one time initial premium bonus which can potentially offset some of those rider charges in a way. Hope this helps!

      Just don't use the "plus" You don't typically get into an annuity for the liquidity. Perf. Elite 7 with no charge can still do very well

    I’m in with a 10 year with 190k and they said I can withdraw at 30 a millionaire I do not know if this is false or true because my mom got me into this based on your analysis is it not a scam or will I at least see some profits?

    • @AnnuityAssociation
      @AnnuityAssociation  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The potential interest is credited based on the performance of the underlying index strategy you're allocated to. If the market index or indices perform, you will definitely experience growth. While performance is never guaranteed, the benefits of having a 0% guaranteed floor along with an annual or bi-annual crediting reset period, chances are that over 10 years you will have ample opportunity to earn positive returns. More than 50B was invested in Fixed Index Annuities last year 2020. These vehicles are far from a scam and a suitable option for those looking for safe accumulation opportunities coupled with guaranteed principal protection from market volatity risk. - Jeremiah

      @@Jdoug305 When it comes to financial decisions, it's best to take your time and not rush into anything you don't understand and/or feel 100% comfortable with. With all Annuity transactions, you have what's called a free look period. This will give between 10-30 days depending on the state to review everything in your contract. During this time you can elect to decline the contract and receive 100% refund of your money. If you're looking for a second opinion, I'd be happy to help. - Jeremiah
